  9. im hoping to recieve the manifold with the longblock im starting to think maybe it would be shitloads easier to go with a phase 2 longblock still aint sure what type of heads the phase 2 forester has??
  10. go for the cross sports they look alot better there are a few around they look stunning in black xt looks very plain.auzzie spec foresters pffft some of there foz'z like the GT upgrade to td04s and think that there wonderful lol :'(
  11. got a sti v4 longblock lined up heads may need a rebuild has crank new head gasket pistons rods etc what should i do first will everything bolt up??my factory engine is ej205 v5v6 would i need to change ecu also or retain factory

  15. cast pistons run a tighter clearence and expand less when they heat up and are alot quiter forged pistons expand more as they heat up which requires extra piston to bore clearence ???
  16. i just thought that if forged pistons were to be installed the block would need to be machined to ensure clearence between piston and the bore wall are sweet. ;D also the sti pistons being forged have a lower compression ratio to accomodate for the higher boost levels.does the sti range use a diffrent thickness of head gasket?? im planing to use my current block which is the same as a v5v6 wrx non sti
  17. thinking of doing a bit of engine work on my foz getting cambelt replaced and thinking of ugrading the heads with better flowing gtb one's has anyone done this also would you need an sti longblock to install sti piston and rods or can you install sti pistons on a non sti block??

  20. ive got a 2.5 downpipe to fit to my forester but it has no o2 sensor flange??can i run it with no sensor or??does any one run this type of pipe? cheers
