Hey Guys, I've just bought a new boot + factory sti spoiler for my 03 sti v-limited. I've just found that the old one that has come off is aluminium. The car when I bought it came with a SPEC C Type RA spoiler. So I can only assume that the boot was the one that originally came with it? Any idea on if it came with the v-limiteds too. Or how much it's worth?

Hiya, recently bought my first subaru. A 2003 WRX Sti V-Limited done 109,000kms. However, when buying I happened to either look over or fail to notice certain aspects that may not be up to scratch. I really love the car and am happy to invest the money in it, am just trying to guage up a ballpark figure. My current problem is the 5th & 6th synchros I believe to be on their way out, not grinding but will buzz into the gear (will still slot in) upon high rpm shifts (above 5k), am struggling to find any info online related to the gearbox rebuild/cost of a synchro replacement, I live in the south island and would prefer to have the work completed down here so if anyone has any reccommendations or any guesstimates on price that would be much appreciated.
