Good to hear you got it sorted..
I have recently put some Eibach springs in mine..
My son said it looked like a monster truck when it came off the jacks..
Went for a drive and it settled down a bit..
Feels tight as ..
Steering is more direct..
A bit jiggley still but they will wear in ..
Way better than superlow kings or low Jamex that I had tried before..
-
I have bought some adapters so I can use the improved phase two ones as above..
Cheers

Wait are we talking about refurbs to get factory spec or, say, when a 3rd party takes a Bosch EV14 and reflows it to flow way more?
So there appears to be quite a few companies selling these..
Google ..... 4 jecs 850cc side feed fuel injectors e85 global auto co....
This is an australian company that sell them with a two year warranty..
nz$ 243 + 32 freight..
What you think ?

Theres not a lot of tension on the front springs..
Wrap a towel or two around it and spin the nut off..
Obviously don't put your face in the way..

Any one have any experience with these injectors..?

That Blitzen looks all right..
Be aware that Subaru 4 cylinder turbo engines are vulnerable to bigend failure..
This one appears to have been looked after..
But no way of telling really..

Cheers..I was pondering between 7 and 8 cm..
The anti surge cover is cool..
Don't mind if it spools a bit later as the coupe is low geared..
I think that's the logic.. time will tell..

Just run it twisted or fitment issues?
Which spec did you end up with?
Same setup but with an small adaptor from up pipe to turbo to get rid of the angle on turbo so it sits level..
This is to make oil drain easier from core..Tony is going to make it with two flanges etc..
Ended up with Mamba # 001 0041..
Td05 20G
Comp 52.5/68 GTX 11 blade..
Turbine 49.2/56 12 blade Inconel..
3 inch anti surge housing..
8cm .64 hot side..
Good times..

You getting it tuned? Keen as to hear your results when you done as I'll be using a similar turbo on the rs
Yes .Keith stewart will be tuning ..
Have got to fit stock headers and modify turbo mount to sit turbo level..
Then modify down pipe to suit..
Then tune for 300whp..
Run it for a while like that and then rebuild engine and run in..
Followed by touchup tune with maybe another 20-30 whp..
Sounds easy...........................
But its not.

So the shop suspects the top hat bearings are gone? Said sway bar link didn't have much play at all

Unusual for the bearings to fail and knock..
The bearing operates through a limited range of movement and is quite robust..
Don't know..
What was the result ?

Perception of Subaru reliability compared to other Japanese manufacturers (Honda, Nissan, Toyota)

Not too hard to keep them reliable if common sense is applied..
Easy to kill them if it isn't..
