Yeah same here,on the gauge cluster it says "Cruise Set".But @ paulngui make\'s sense..The speed cluster\'s from a manufacturing point of view from the 04-09 are all the same and i guess we are the un-lucky one\'s.Preety stink that we don\'t have it.Oh well...It\'s just a cruiser after all .Cheers guys!

Hey guy\'s bought the Legacy B4 2004 the other day,as stated in on another post. Was driving around today and noticed on the dash board (Speedo Cluster)that there is an option called "CRUISE SET" Funny thing is i\'m 99% this car has no cruise control since it\'s just a little 2.0l engine. And there aren\'t any "Set" buttons ( +/- ) on the steering wheel to set my cruise control to a desirable speed. So not sure where the switch or button\'s are. If any one has a Legacy 2004 model,can you please let me know whether the car has cruise control or not. And if it does,can you please let me know where the control for it is. Hey guy\'s have owned a lot of car\'s and around 3 Subaru\'s so far,but the guy that used to install my alarm\'s has moved overseas. I bought a Legacy B4 yesterday and i am wondering if the AVS - S5 w/immobilizer is still a popular option. Need a good alarm w/installation asap,so if you guys could recommend a good place for buying one (Make/model etc) and an installer that that would be great. Hey guy's bought a Stock Subaru Impreza a couple of weeks ago. And then just last week bought some 17'' rim's and they came with snow-tyres. And now on bumps,and when there is weight in the back seat the 2 rear tyres are rubbing against the guard Can some one please tell me a place for a good price where i can get my 2 rear guards rolled,And whether that place will do a good job. That's an awesome tutorial,but why do they talk about sanding stuff? Isn't it simple enough just to take the speedo cluster out,change the bulbs and then screw it back in.. I am preety sure that's what you did. Thanks for the help though man. Much appreciated Sanding so they get rid of the green film so you can have any colour LED/Bulb you like Damm,never thought of that.So i have to sand it down then ??

Hey guy's just went to see a car...It was a Subaru Impreza 2004 .. 1500cc .. Automatic.(Wagon) Told the guy i'll keep intouch with him. Just wondering whether it's worth doing an AA check on the car before i buy it. I checked the exterior and everything was fine...No scratches,dent's etc. Just checked the AA web-site and for member's its 147$ for a pre-purchase inspection. Basically it's the first non-modified car i have bought. Just buying it as a run around,plus it look's good So is it really worth doing an AA check before i purchase the car? Please feel free to share some advice guys.Would be really appreciated. Thanks.

No buddy,no turbo-timer.But one of the alarm guy's i took my car too today said that he can't put in an alarm unless the central-locking is completely fixed and working 100%,so i guess tomorow i have to take it to an auto-sparky,and see what the root of the problem is.Hope they don't charge me a whole heap!

Which lead though the + or the - .. Won't that damage the ECU somehow though?is that even good for the car when it's running?

How do i do that mate?a multi-meter right?what Voltage should i be getting when the car is running if my alternator is the problem?-I mean what does it normally read?

So you reckon it's not the central locking then?But my driver's door still does not get locked when i lock it.But have realised when ever i start the car a couple of hour's later it take's a few crank's,and a step on the accelerator to get it going..It could be the alternator,would that cause the revs to drop suddenly below idle when the car is in neutral?or in park?

The Central locking is locking all the door's with the remote on the key,except for the driver's door.I haven't disconnected the battery yet,is there a point doing that?

I prefer mongoos,how would AVS do anything different?

If only i knew where that was.

Hey guy's off late my Subaru has needed alot of Jump starts,Just wondering since my central locking has been giving problem's,my mechanic told me it's draining out the battery.I just don't understand how though. How much do you reckong it will cost to get it fixed?I also bought a Brand-new Battery but it's still draining it out. I don't have an alarm installed yet,should i get an auto sparky to come do my alarm and tell him to sought the central-locking out? Let me know what your thoughts are,Would be greatly appreciated.
