Got around to fixing the left rear seatbelt that jammed up, had just payed for one from strongs as I gave up, as I walked in side saying to the wife it was buggered, swinging it around like a yoyo, it just rolled itself out and down to the floor, back in car and working better than before.

Wife gets rear seat belt jammed while driving though dannievike, and joker lent some tools (thanks joker) so I could break it even more, now I need a new left rear seat belt.

Check out your local auto electrical shops, the packet I got has the number 8-B100 Bulb mini capless 14v, check them out, you cant get a bulb with the holder, you will have to reuse the holders that you have.

I can get you new bulbs for $2.00 a bulb plus shipping which wouldn't be a lot, you will need to take the bulb off the holder, the bulbs I have are a little shorter but still fit and work, you will need to pull the coloured bulb condom of and put on new bulbs as well, I can get the bulbs though AES Electracs in Hastings here, if you want pm and will oraganise some for you.

So 1997 bd5 auto, i am not at the car now so havnt pulled any codes off and wont be able to till tonight. the car was fine when the wife parked it up, now the car will wind over about five times before stopping completely, with no attempt at even firing, turn key off and on again the car will do the same thing again. anyone have any ideas as to what is going on? cheers

Left field a little but what about using air, a pipe across the front of intercooler with some small holes drilled into it, conect up to a airbag compressor, wont block the intercooler at high speeds and would move air through the intercooler when parked at lights.

seen this around,super charger straight into air box for no affect, just looks, and how he wont be open about it on trade me...... waste of money on a supercharger just to sit there and do nothing.

got new battery, went from 430cca to 540cca, makes a big difference, starts better and idles better now.
