Ive ticked over the 300k mark with my EJ20ddm, still going strong, but have a horrid ticking noise, with a random idle (sits at 600 then climbs to 1500 then drops again) i've been told its the piston heads rattling as they have worn down, as the noise is on and off. Suggestions? And am I lucky to make 300k? 1991 Legacy VZ type R
