  1. When I was trying to find out prices for my brumby front CVs. They told me I had to bring them in due to being 3 different CVs avaible for them.
  2. Im pretty sure the rear CVs are smaller and lighter. What model/year is your leone... Theres heaps of different CVs for the front.
  3. Looking at possibly getting a 1990 GX 2.2 Legacy Its 4wd and manual and has done 250,000 so kms. I think its NZ new. It doesnt look to bad. Has a glass sun roof. Ive got a few questions... What do I look out for that could go wrong in one of these? What is the fuel eccommy like for one? Ive heard the motors are pretty good... but are they? Is there any thing else I should know about them? Thanks
  4. Ive never blown a motor or gearbox... ( I did make the auto start to slip in SVX tho lol... But it still drived fine ) Only things ive replaced is water pumps and tires and CV boots and rubber water hoses that start to leak. And replaced/rebuilt x2 brake master cylinders... They are all things you get with all cars

  7. Its actually 1609kgs. The 4WS versons weigh alot more. One of the rally ones got to approx 1400 something kgs. It was fitted with a 6spd
  8. I wouldnt do that to your minter... There are some rally/ track/ Targa/ autocross SVXs thats hads some sucesses in there grade of racing. They are heavy. Ive gutted loads from mine so far. but theres more to do... Willl be alot of money spent on it eventually. Mine one will be a road legal race car.

  12. I discontected the rear driveshaft on my auto XT6 when I had to move it from storage to home and back. I had read that was what you had to do for towing it from the subaru manual (mite had been the FSM?).
  13. Dad also had owned weird and unusal cars. He has owned alot of cars fitted with boxer twins, boxer 4s. He ended up buying his 1st subarus a GSR and DL 1400 about 74-75. So for me its in the blood. Every one in the family has owned a subaru for a run about. My 1st one was a 1600 1982 leone wagon that I got off my grandad. Owned them ever since. I love subarus and I Love boxer engines. So thats why im a Subaru fantactic

  16. Its all specilation. It will be quite a long time till we find out the info on the subaru verson. We may not find out till just after the Toyota verson has been released for sale.

  19. If its like a svx theres ever one on the front diff or in the auto transmission depending if its JDM or not I dont actually know what its used for?
