not sure if its got forged pistons.. doesn\'t happen often at all, but every now and again - id say more of a whitish smoke but only on startup and not often at all..

Has anyone experiences a puff of smoke on startup? doesn\'t happen often, just randomly.. only on startup and then is fine and may not happen again for months.. If so do you know what it might be?

Just incase someone elese is looking to fix this, found the solution.. as below.. cheers My car alarm wont arm/disarm from the normal button but arms/disarms from the boot release button? You have an earlier model alarm and a programming feature has been accidentally turned on. To return it to normal: 1. Arm then disarm your AVS car alarm and enter the car. 2. Close the bonnet and boot but make sure the drivers door is open then turn the ignition to ON. 3. Press the boot release button two times (the siren will chirp once with each push of the button, if not start again). 4. Turn the ignition off. 5. Your alarm should work as normal now.

Just got car back from getting boot spoiler fixed today at the panel beaters and noticed that the AVS Car alarm to arm and dis arm is now using the "boot release button" instead of the "lock / Unlock" button. Anyone know how to change this back? if not will go in and see them tomorrow.. Cheers

Hi Guys.. So the version 5 and 6 bottom half is exactly the same? So i could use the version 6 top half and bolt onto the version 5 base? and there will be no difference? cheers

Hi, correct me if im wrong. Is the top part of the version 5 / 6 spoilers the only difference between the two? If so does anyone know if the ver 6 top half can be bolted onto a version 5 bottom. Cheers The only reason why i ask is i have damaged the lugs that help fix the spoiler to the boot. I maybe able to get a version 5 wing as cant seem to find a 6.. If the only difference is the top half and they are interchangeable then i guess it should be ok.. Ta..
