what kinda power you after and what you using your car for?

-no i cant remember if they ever did... was also looking at our new sponser's turbo also but they are not bolt on kit

as long as the turbo comes with warranty it should be sweet....

20g is good... but then u got AVCS heads which helps spolls up the turbo faster

240kw atw... but I'm more interested in keeping the power all the way to redline, I dislike how at 6300rpm with my VF36/30 cross breed mongrel the car feels like it is slowing down...

Using my car for daily driving and the odd track day. When funds permit I want to buy a single turbo legacy for work and turn the Impreza in to a caged track weapon

  2. Yo San did driven performance ever get back to you about those Kinugawa turbos? I want to know what a good upgrade for better top end power on my v7 STI would be and they look reasonably priced, what do you reckon about a td06 20G? Would factory pinks with a walbro handle that turbo or need decapped?

hey man were about is that top hose going to?looks like everything else is right

also sometime the taps are the wrong way round.so mayb do abit of swaping n stuff.

btw internals wastegates are crap for holding boost.

go external or buy a decent ebc

Internal gates are fine, stop trying to cause an argument

Tried checking fault codes but after following the instructions on here, I got to 100 flashes of the CEL and it was still going. I'm not actually 100% sure if there was as an actual boost issue as it was hard to check due to the other issue I'm having. All the hoses in the black box and intercooler seem right. Biggest issue I'm having at the moment (and it's booked into an auto electrician tomorrow unless anyone can suggest anything ) is electrical. While running and sitting still it's fine but when you start moving the Alarm, Power Steering, ABS all go haywire and then the engine shuts off. Feel free to move this thread to electrical. Thought it was just the alarm but I seem to have fixed that and the problem persists. Any ideas?

it cycles through the fault codes, you should be able to tell by the delay in flash when it is switching between codes (if it is throwing multiple codes that is)

its always fun reading these sorts of threads im sure the answers have been given soooooo many times before

how longs a piece of string?

MANY MANY things contribute to the outcome of any car and thats been said many MANY times before

as per OP Steve I have listed the modifications I am planning, perhaps the title is misleading and should have read "How much power from this set up"

lol they werwe done on my rebuild

    which was exactly 15 430ks.

I was asking for my own vehicles benefit that's why I apologized for the thread hijack.

Don't know when they were done or whats in there but last owner was fastidious so I imagine will be platinum or iridium.

Will pull them out today and have a look-see, what would be the things to look for to know what condition they are?
