Yea 98 was the crossover year. Im pretty sure theres a few 98' BG5s out there too.. Seen a blue BH5 wagon on TM with tri-spokes as well. HORRID :-[

Hi guys, I'm looking at buying me a new Subaru (coming to the turbo side ) thats listed down in Dunners. Unfortunately im in Nelson at dont have time to go down to inspect it. Do any of you know of a trusted mechanic that knows their subbies that could have a quick look over it? Or any suggested places that do pre-purchase inspections? Dont really want to use the AA as they were pretty useless on my last car Cheers

Yes ive used the AA... not going there again in any hurry. My local mechanic is a subaru enthusiast which helps

So they are pretty much a clutchless manual? Having the buttons on the steering wheel seems a bit awkward compared to a paddle shift though. Really need to test drive one.. How common are the problems with the seals? my budget allows me to get one with around 100-120ks on the clock

In the market for B4 RSK. Wanting a manual box but theres a lot of nice ones out there with the tiptronic boxs so may contemplate getting one. Never driven one so would like to get a general idea of what people think of them.. How much freedom do they give? Cheers

The choice was easy What your future plans are: Sell it and buy a turbo leggy! If not.... Tinted windows, more exhaust upgrades
