Yes they are available, but it comes as part of a kit with all ghe other seals... new ones are circa $250+gst, reconditioned circa $200+gst,the seal kit I think is about $160+gst...

Really! Theres only one dam seal in the cylinder! Maybe ill locate a second hand one from somewhere.
Cheers
Kit does all the cylinder\'s seals I believe, I never bothered and just bought a new one.

Finally took a picture of the panel I made

Well it depends on the situation you see...
If you drive around at say 10km/h with your foot on the brake then the disks will wear out,
Now, IF, you were on the other hand doing say 100km/h and went to brake and had no brake pads left and crashed then the car would be wrecked, and maybe you too...
Just saying

Also, its a UK car so they are talking 500BHp.
But then, Tommi Makinen did a 7:55 in a closer to stock STI. I think from what I have read on the internet, that he had 320Hp (so at a guess, 400 odd BHp).
Yup

If this is how the Club is going to treat new people, then that\'s really not on.
All the mod had to do was either move the thread to the wanted section, or in this case lock it because OP had started a thread in the appropriate section.
It\'s moments like this where new people, even if they\'re not going to stick around should be treated with some decency.
Clubsub isn\'t run or monitored by monkeys, so lets not have monkey like posts coming from moderators (except for the off topic section)
/rant.
When people reply to posts like he has below I think the response he got is quite moderated...

Got more pics?
Where did you get the 27 from?
When you say you undid the cir-clip: I take it to mean you dissembled the turbo and put the 27 bits in place of the factory 25/26?? Not sure I follow here very well...
Looks like a fun thing to do...

Can be adjusted from memory...
Have a gander underneath by the pedals - contortion time

Not Smith & Smith apparently:

I have not had any issues with a factory clutch so would recommend that, Exedy is another brand (the factory ones are Exedy iirc)

Get some planks, place them in front of the ramps so you drive onto them 1st then the ramps...
Did this at my old store so often it wasn\'t funny

The downshifting while slowing down comes into its own when driving larger vehicles, mainly to do with exhaust/engine brakes, but even doing it in any vehicle allows better control if anything goes wrong like say losing brakes or foot slipping of brake pedal.
I have been driving for so long I double de clutch on downshifts in every thing, its a bad habit in syncroed vehicles but by christ i cant help myself
Oh yea thats another thing he wae\'ed on about, was my habit of downshfting and using the handbrake at traffic lights/intersections, I got taught nearly 25 year ago, you stop, you apply handbrake - period...
Anyway, I well remember driving landrovers & Mogs offroad and using gearing to keep control and help slow it down...

10 and 2 ? 0r 9 and 3 ?
Lucky you didnt do the emergency response driver, they expected the "shuffle" steering, they can go jump And i told the instructor that too, it may of been ok 25 years ago with crap/no power steering but it does not fly in the modern trucks
Hahahaha 10 & 2
Nah he has a colleuge that blah blah\'s on about that apparently...
I am one of those 1 handed drivers (and thumb out of steering wheel - Landrover driving habits die hard)
-
I do all our driver assessments, I look for the ability to remain within the law ( indicating is my particular bug bear) I also look at vehicle placement on the road in particular while cornering, and the ability of looking after the vehicle ( gear changing at the right revs neither to high or low) no heavy braking.
mind you I am hoping as these are bus drivers that they have driven a bit before hand( and no most are useless)
Sweet
Went and [pretty much as you said.
They looked for smooth safe driving, his particular bugbear seemed to be hands on the steering wheel and not down-shifting when decelerating...
I did reasonably well, only them fooking hands aye...

So tomorrow I am off to do a pre-employment Work place driver assessment.
Any one know what is involved with these?

retrofit trailer brakes
in General Vehicle Discussion
Posted
sweet, have checked there is plenty of clearance, the trailer was originally built with the option for disk brakes designed in so I need coupler, hubs, brakes, disks...
