Yeah definately was a resonator that was put in but yeah usually boosted extremely fast quick spool up to 22pound and now its so slow compared to before. cant take it out otherwise it would be way to loud. question though it was a 2.5" resonator but wouldnt have thought that would change the flow by much?

  2. Hey all havent been on in ages thought i would pick at your brains.

    Had a 3inch tbe no cat 5inch cannon one resonator testing station to loud so got another resonator put in so running two now notice the turbo spools up a lot slower than before still eventually hits peak boost but higher in the revs than before.

    haha yeah i will second that 2 degrees it pretty good.especially because your alway adding more credit to your phone if you dont ring for the month then next month you got 100 txts and $40 bucks worth of cheap calling

  4. haha very much going to pass on that have no idea but my flatmate doesnt know to much about subies so all that mattered was the autos part haha and then it started

    STi ver 4, June 1997

    Common for Group N rally cars and has good bottom end. Not recommended for stroker engines or

    engines with high boost as turbo is small and can over speed.

    Same compressor housing and wheel as a VF23 with smaller Turbine housing (18)

    Best turbo for Auto’s and cars that want the best bottom end and least lag.

    in saying that looking at some spec threads they rekon they are only good for 17psi mine runs 17-19psi depending on temps just fine guessing they just safe parameters

  5. in saying that i get so much shit from my flatmate owning and v3 STi and having a vf23 and myself having a VF on my V4 STi because it says its mainly used in auto applications bit of a buzz kill but i do like the vf24 i guess just on the quick spooling

    my 2 cents is they look better with the monsoons on them i used to have them on the GTB Limited like reubenH's but i dont have them on the v4 sti it sux in a smokers terms but i think they make the legacys look finished again i can feel the wrx spoiler no spoiler war coming back hahaha ;D

  7. so glad i got a single turbo now i got an ARC BOV with single trumpet no problems with. used to run a HKS SSQ on the GTB drove me insane on the twin turbo haha got so sick of it. each to there own i suppose whether you like having a venting to atmosphere bov or not as long as ya happy with your car.

    yeah from palmy me and the dude that owns the version 3 wanna find a better place for the photos though my go for a drive up saddle by the windmills for the photo and of course the drive up there haha
