  1. Yea, it gets quite annoying when driving as it literally has no go between 2500rpm and 5000rpm, lol.
  2. I'll have a look, thanks for the advice
  3. The first turbo runs 10-12psi from bellow 2500rpm then between 2500rpm and 4500rpm-5000rpm it runs 4-5psi, then after 5000rpm or so it runs properly at around 15psi.
  4. I've heard about the V.O.D issues with these cars, lol. Currently mine has a huge V.O.D, around 2000-2500rpm. My secondary turbo kicks in at around 4500rpm-5000rpm at around 16-17psi then drops back to 15psi. Car doesn't seem to have a problem when the secondary turbo comes on. Would you know what side of the engine the primary turbo is on? Passenger or drivers side? Thanks
  5. Thanks for that, I'll have a look at it.
  6. Thanks for the info I am currently going through the engine bay changing over all the vacuum lines. My car still has the factory BOV installed, but am planning on changing it soon. How would I go about cleaning the solenoids, lol?
  7. I know where you are coming from mate, lol. Mine has been packing a sad 2 :-\
  8. Any idea what could be causing it to do this? ???
  9. Hi, What rpm should a 99 RSK B4's primary turbo be boosting 2? My car seems to be only boosting on the primary turbo from between 1500rpm to 2500rpm at around 10-12psi. After it gets past 2500rpm the boost drops back to 3-4psi until you reach the secondary turbo. What could be wrong? I take it this isn't normal
  10. I have had the car for probably 9 months and it has been like that ever since I got it. I only put a boost gauge in the car because my mate had been saying that he thought the primary turbo wasn't working at all like it should, turns out he was right, lol. I have just replaced lines 1-2 and line 21 from under the intercooler, and non of them had a restrictor pill in them. Is that normal? So far I have found two restrictor pills on pipes coming off the manifold, and another on a pipe between the T piece on the primary turbo. I have put them all back in the same place when changing over to new pipes. It could well be the turbo, but it doesn't blow smoke or make any concerning sounds while driving. The weird thing about all this is that if I'm in 5th gear doing around 60 KM/H and I put my foot down, without changing gear, the primary turbos boost will climb all the way up to 10-12psi until the car hits around 85 KM/H, then will drop back down to 3-4psi again It only does this in 5th gear and won't go above 4psi in any other gear.
  11. I am currently in the process of changing all the vacuum lines inside the engine. I have done the lines that lead over to the primary turbo, but none of this has helped so far. Should I do the other pipes leading into the black box on the secondary turbo side of the engine bay? Also, could it possibly be a leak in the metal pipe running across the manifold? Any other ideas or suggestions would be great Thanks
  12. Hi guys, I have a 99 RSK B4 which I have recently installed a boost gauge in. Now, the boost gauge is telling me that the car is running a miserable 3-4psi on the primary turbo and 15-16psi on the secondary. Are these figures what I should expect from a standard B4? ???
