Hey peeps. Right, i need some help, i am a tad stuck on this one, i have a power steering leak coming from the join from the rubber hose to the hard hose at the bottom, coming down the rack. Now, the hose i need to get to is the one further to the back, i have droped the rack and sway bar as much as i can, i can get an open ended spanner onto it but have no leverage to get this effing bolt out ... Has anyone run into this problem and got a way around it ? ... Did I explain it well enough, i do have a picture i can upload later on if need be for clarification ... HELP #%)(&%#*&*)(&@ !!! Peace

Dude, best thing to do ... Go see Nick, get yourself a link g4 ... whack it on the dyno, tune it, power gains + safe tune = you winning lol problem solved ... that or youll just be spending the money on a rebuild soon enough anyways haha peace

Cheers X I should have been a bit clearer. Car is V5 Type R so yes has DCCD Now ... Looking at fitting the 6 speed but didnt want to loose the DCCD ... Good news then. Car will be running aftermarket ecu too

Yo ... Ok Maybe a stupid question, with my history and knowledge of subarus and cars in general i should probably know this ... Buuuut, Can you run DCCD if you do a 6 speed conversion on a gc8 ? School me lol peace

I have some new wheels being fitted up for it this week which are going to be cutting it pretty close on the gc fitting side of things so that may play havock come conversion time a little bit. hmmm

Hey peeps ... Looking at possibly picking up a wrecked v7 sti ... Thinking of doing the 6 speed swap and the Brembros too ... Anyone had any experience doing these conversions? problems etc? Car is 99 V5 Sti Type R .... Had a quick search on here couldn't turn up much. Any Info is mucho appreciated :-) Peace

Hey people I am looking to upgrade my work vehicle, i have 10k give or take to spend(ish) ... Looking at the 03 - 05 legacy , probably Sedan but wagon would also suffice ... The 2.0L non turbo model ... does anyone have any experience with these ? know anything about them ? From what iv seen and read the seem to be fairly solid vehicles ... Hows the fuel consumption ? etc etc etc Thanks guys and gals
