well......yes, it goes with the rev, the ticking goes faster when i rev up, but i can't rev TOO high in reverse without causing damage

and does anyone know anywhere good to take my baby legacy to get it checked without costing a leg and an arm?? I just moved up to AKL from Wellington so had no idea where to go in here..... >__<

Hi guys, does anyone know whether this is a common p/b for Legacy BE5?? I get this weird ticking noise when I'm in the reverse gear and I can smell something burning. It only just happened after my mum stalled my car while she was reversing my car couple days ago.... @__@ Would it be the gearbox that's stuff up??? or something else, i'm just quite worry about that burning smell and the noise it only happens in my reverse gear, all forward gears are fine, but unfortunately from time to time i do need to reverse :\ Help please
