I just had a full set of Bridgestone MY01 put on my TS-R and so far I am pretty happy. Tony's gave me a pretty good price ($180). They have done wonders for the understeer, so full marks there. It tracked really nicely going down the hairpin turn at the top of Glenmore road this morning. They do seem a little louder than the old ones, but thats probably because they were pretty worn. Nothing major any way.

Hi All Its time to replace the wiper blades on my Legacy. I have tried repco ones before but they are S#*T and start squealing after a few weaks. Can any one recomend some quality wiper blades and where to get them. Pref in Wellington. Cheers Jon

Thanks for the advice. I have the wiring diagram for the stereo, so I will run a new earth and see what happens.

I did try searching before I posted this but couldnt find anything either. The demister is 100%. Since the lighter jack causes the same problem when a phone charger is pluged in, I am guessing its an earth problem. I will try and track the earth wire and see what I can do. Failing that I will probably take it to an Auto sparky.

I have just noticed that when I plug in a phone charger it does the same thing.

I have a 2002 legacy wagon and everytime I turn on the rear window demister (button on ac unit) and am listening to the radio, I loose reception. Its not the stereo as I have just replaced it. Any ideas? Also where is the aerial on this model? There is nothing external that can see.

What fuel do they use? 91 or 95?

Hi Everyone I currently have a 96 WRX Wagon and we are looking to get something with a bit more room. I have found this on on TM: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=228932776 Is there anything I should be aware of or look out for? Also can anyone tell me weather it is a 2002, or 2003? I found this page: http://www.cars101.com/subaru/legacy/legacy2003.html It says under the pic that it has new wheels and new fog lights, which the one on TM has. Any Ideas? Regards Jon

Just a thought... I had the clutch replaced about two months ago. Could they have put it back together wrong?

Yeah, I am planning on getting rid of it soon anyway. The dash lights up no problem and the rev counter is fine also. Just seems to be the speedo, odometer and trip counter.

Hi All I have a 96 wrx gravel express. I was driving to work this morning and the speedo suddenly dropped from 50 to 0. The odometer and trip counter are also not working. Is there any easy fix (fuse/loose wire)? or is it something for a mechanic?

Hi everyone thanks for all your help. I am in wellington. The mechanic we use does a good job and is honest which is rare. I asked him for a cost for the cambelt / seals / waterpump and only told him it was an impreza. He asked if it was a quad or single cam. I have been quoted +-$1000. From what I can tell, this sounds about right?

Hi All I have a 1996 Gravel Express that needs its cam belt done. My mechanic asked me if it is a single or quad cam. How can I tell. Also it has a miss at low revs / under load. What is likely to cause this?
