  3. Hi guys, Just got another problem with my Version 6, Grrrrrr. Hope you guys can help. Well here it goes, After asking on here what caused my car to shudder on take offs and high friction point ( Brand new clutch kit), i decided to try a new clutch slave cylinder. After i changed it, i bled it with a mate now theres no pressure on the clutch pedal and just seems like it wants to stick to the floor. We bled it like a million times still no difference. http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic,10699.0.html http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic,10174.0.html Now i think these problems could be all related? Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks!

  10. Ok got the exedy clutch in today. Everything is sweet as apart from the engaging/friction point which is high as. We have tried adjusting the clutch but cant get it to engage it right/how i want it to. Either no clutch or high friction point. Any ideas guys?
  11. I am going back to repco tomorrow. What do you guys think of auto clutch making a new clutch for me?
  12. Do you guys recommend me doing this? I will be looking at getting a exedy H/D next. The only time this clutch got abit of raping was at nightwars which i had three runs and thats it, but this was end of last year. Anyone know why a clutch would fail like this?
  13. Yep, like i said less than 7,000kms on it. Nah flywheel didnt get skimmed, the guy that help change the clutch last time said it was fine, and it looked fine too. Pressure plate looks pretty normal, like a brandnew standard one. So anyone know why my clutch blew, dont want it to happen to next one? haha
  14. Keltik- When i tried to double clutch it, it still wouldnt even go into gear. Here are some pics off my phone. As you can see the flywheel has some pretty mad hot spots, you can feel them with your finger.
  15. Dont have a camera, But ill take some on my phone tomorrow and upload.
  16. Check that the downpipe bracket is not in the way.
  17. Clutch kit is a Clutch Industries one from repco, But pressure plate says exedy on it?
  18. If i was to pull it apart and check it myself, what kind of stuff/damages should i be looking for? Also any ideas to as why my clutch blew? Did less than 7,000kms on that clutch and pretty much just nana shifting all the time.
  19. Last night was driving and something went bang! Couldnt drive it anymore. Today pulled the gearbox out and a whole chuck of the clutch fell out.......Clutch had done less than 7,000kms. Do you guys think my gearbox is rooted also? Thanks
  20. Hey, sorry to be a noob, but why is there no point installing without heat wrapping them?
  21. Thanks for all the info. How do i know when its adjusted right?
  22. Clutch was just a home garage job, Clutch was installed properly im sure as it was mint up until recently. But nothing was adjusted/bledded? Yeah its like the clutch isnt engaging fully.
