I have a \'95 BG5 tt manual wagon. It\'s done around 203,000k\'s.
It\'s 100% factory except for some low king springs. Motor has never had the boost raised etc.
I service it regularly and it\'s just had new cambelt, waterpump, seals, gaskets, spark plugs, air and fuel filter, all liquids replaced, basically everything possible without lifting the heads or rebuilding the block.
How long can I expect the block to last?
As far as I know the turbos are the original ones, car blows no smoke, both still produce boost effortlessly, what sort of life span can I expect out of them
What are the manual gearboxs like as far as longevity? Bearings, synchros? It\'s got a slightly graunch only sometimes going into reverse and sometimes going from 2nd back to 1st
I\'m just debating whether or not to keep it or sell it off whilst the going is good and get something else
Any advice would be appreciated.
