  1. Bingo!! And in order to fit the gutterless ones onto an impreza you have to apparently cut the rubber strips on the roof away, they will be on the roof for about 3 weeks a year so dont want permanent scarring on my ca,r as for the Bighorn idea, I cant really see myself wanting to drive for 4 hours in one.
  2. that would be a help, good man thank you :-) and thanks to others that have contributed ideas however helpful or not ;D
  3. yeah I wanted a sport hatch which would have been perfect but wife wont have a wagon! Dont want to go down the road of the issues of legacy's with the TT setup, seem to be more problems than they are worth and they are too big for the wife to drive. The boards are contained in a padded board bag so danger from edges are negligible. And as I said before if I can help it I will not cut the rubber roof strips to put roof spoilers on. Its usually just 2 or 3 in our car, last time we went up our friends had roof racks on their car so all the boards were on that., once up there we just put them diagonally across the back seat from the foot well on one side
  4. Have a problem where I want to transport snowboards up to the ski fields, I have a V4 STI sedan and the rear seats are fixed so was wondering the following: Do any of the WRX or Hx etc imprezas have folding seats that would be a direct swap into my car? I'm pretty sure the wagon/sport hatch ones fold but Im guessing they wouldnt work in the sedan? Has anyone ever tried to do this before? I really don't want to get a roof rack if I can help it BTW the trim colour is Black with the grey suede panels - cheers
