Turbo Compressor maps people.... would have eased this argument straight away, cause they are real world results made by the manufacturers for their products.
Laz put a top mount in your fozz then put dry ice on top, run 25 psi no sweat at least till the dry ice evaporates

yea not for the turbo in question cause i cant be arsed trawling the net for it but this will help you to define when a turbo runs out of puff and just starts becoming a hairdryer, compressor surge etc etc

will a 97 fozz cat back mate to a version 7 just out of interest

it wasnt clearly explained why it was pink stickered.
Posting up about breaking the law on the forum is generally frowned upon. However - since Smurff has both clarified and we had a chat on PM as we're mates and its clear as mud now.
we're mates and i knew it wasnt like him to intentionally do dumb s*** and post up about it.
Thus, You neednt interfere chap we're good

really? posting that on here??? dear i ask what for?
yea i will post it on here. he noticed me due to my camber and asked about it and my suspension, camber adjusters were not on the cert plate, didnt know they needed to be. so nothing major.
but no way i can get it sorted in time for mega meet, will take 5 working days before the cert plate comes so i can get vtnz to remove the sticker.

carb cleaner is bad for electrical so is brakekleen electra clean is purpose made for electrical

yea bro some people say they can do it cheaper but get a quote with all the parts from where ever you got the first quote and compare the parts on the list to all the cheaper guys and your bound to see some missing... peace of mind really better to pay out now before teminal damage occurs
-
yes indeed thats me
-
1. yes but tricky I heard refer to funkytown as he has this done
2.yes but make sure you have rims that fit over i presume your V7 rims if they are not damaged
3.As far as I'm aware V7 come with vf30's which are not ball bearing but can maybe make more power than the existing turbo you have
4.No it will need to be modified dump pipe more so than the rest
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

/quote]Wishes you lived in auckland I'm sure theres a real business opp in this
my brother does it in auckland, without marketing himself he can get a job a week easy. so if you went out and put some effort in, you could do a good amount. the only real compertion i think is mag and turbo who do it ( or used to )

-
Thanks for the tips guys. I heard Steve Murch could change the turbo wheel and internals of the factory turbo for more power and a cheaper price.

yup that would be one good option.

yup These guys prices are through the roof but you can talk em down as long as you know what your looking at then your right but if you dont by all means do not but from fast fours got a mate that purchased a wrx coupe from here it broke down so they gave him a HONDA accord r as a courtesy car and he thrashed the living shit out of it actually it was PLRH8D that thrashed it to
