i found that with mods the twin turbo system is not the best
i had a prova ecu and to be honest its not really worth the $$$
get some downpipes and a system i had a full rage system and it made the car alot more responsive and have more power if you end up with an overboost or spike you can drill out the little pill in the primary boost line before the tee
a turbo upgrade to vf26 on primary and vf27 or 32 secondary is the best set up you can run
also a ZS controller could be a good idea to get rid of the vod
and you can get different intercooler to suit but mostly the top mount you have is probably good enough for the power you will make with twin turbo you can get ARC ones sometimes on trademe
i had mine running rage pipes heatwrapped prova ecu and 18 psi and it went really well but it wont last forever
another option is go single turbo that way it opens you up to a much more driveable set up and you can keep modding as much as you like if you ran a vf22 and sti ecu would be alot faster than the twin set up

I believe it was for VIN stamp alteration probable ??? but it was just confusion between the last car and this car as he painted this one black and the running geaer from old car went into it but the tags an everything werent touched there was no reason to as the car already had a rego etc etc
also the airbag light was on

ill try chnage th stud over and ill just have to tell them what motor is in it and why and see what happens from there i cant do anything else really unless i get another gearbox which is just plain stupid in my opinion
-
sweet as i couldnt remember how it was off the top of my head
-
yea thing is im fixing it for a mate who sold the car to another guy who went and got the vtnz test because it got pink stickered and with the starter is there anyway to get around it?
at the moment its only bolted in by one bolt as there is no other way to do it
-
seems a bit stupid really considering that they have 4 bolt motors pre 98 and its bolted up the same ive bolted it up on the 2 bottom studs and 2 top studs the same as with a bolt gearbox
-
would they pass it like it is if they knew it was a 4 bolt motor and 8 bolt gearbox
-
okay am fixing a car for my mate to get pink sticker off because hes in ozzy
ive fixed everything else
the car has a 4bolt motor with 8 bolt gearbox inspector says i need bellhousing bolts whats the go there?
also the starter is from 8 bolt so only held by 1 bolt as thats all thats there to hold it in

Okay so i want to change my fuel pump in gtb as i have a custom bosch intank set up that was made for a BD5 i bought
couple questions for people who have done a pump swap in a gtb
are the pump and sensor set ups the same (factory gtb and rsb) ?
how do i access the pump? through the floor under the seats or do i have to drop the tank or something stupid?
Cheers

Big thanks to the wellington clubsub crew for helping me thank you so much
-
XECUTA your not getting it thanks for the input but i cannot cut the bolt off because of 1 they wouldnt be able to get anything in close enough to do it and not damage the diff brace subframe or both and 2 he needs the subframe so a bolt stuck in it is no good
thanks everyone else for the input
bazza and boon they both sound like ideas worth giving a go
can anybody who lives close by be able to have a look at it for me and see if they can get it off willing to pay for your time if you cn do it
