then it makes your victory all the more sweeter.
I prefer boasting crank figures. Otherwise it’s an unfair comparison between rwd and awd cars

no one cares about crank figures. wheels is where it mattersThat’s like 270kw at the crank! Looking forward to see what mine does with a downpipe and CAI

oh he sells his body at all hours. It doesn't really net much extra cash. really only covers upkeep of the 1-800 number 1-800-Dial-a-ginge a pay to call service where you talk to a bearded ginger fellow.didnt answer 2nd part of my question tho the suspicion grows

6 speed in his GC8 felt perfect! close ratios, light car. no smoke and mirrors just a good time. then came the smoke.
Yea gearsets aren't cheap either, they make the 6 speed swap look worth the coin. Bit to think about I guess. Did you enjoy the difference from the 5 speed?

Dont think that belongs in this section, it looks a stunning car. The wing isn't the best but no where near bad enough to be called a crime.
Nah mate, that honda is terrible.

yes consistent vacuum. but it F***s with your fuel regulation. Bad idea.Mmm FPR is the most ideal compared to plumbing off a BOV or a hose for your boost controller.

don't ever Tee off your FPR. bad advice.Try plumbing off your fuel pressure regulator.

few things.lmfao ^^
How come it slipped in higher gears but not in lower ones? when it starts to slip does it start with the high or low gears as I have heard both... lol
I just dont wanna get the clutch changed if It still had a few years life in it aye...
heat, a clutch in high gears is not as hot at cruise speeds as at fun speeds on account of not moving as much. with it being colder- like performance brakes dont work as well.
but I guarantee if you do a 1st or second gear wot pull it'll slip somewhere between 4-6k rpm, that's on account of more tprque than clamp can handle.
just change it now man.

it wont slip in high gears it'll slip on WOT in the low gears yes get it changed now while you are prepared for it. otherwise it'll bend you over and hide a dog roll in your arse later

I was about that away from the nelson challenge, so I understand your pain. I eventually gave in and just used 95 and a colder range spark plug lolHurts a bit more when you have to drive 40mins each way to get it (hence the jerry can). Still cheaper than a detonation related big end failure I reckon.
Cromwell has the cheapest fuel in the area, in Wanaka 91 is $2.15 per litre at the tourist petrol stations last time I checked.

not tooo bad. 2.13 in Kumeu, but I remember when Nelson BP didnt have 98 and you could only get it at challenge... 2.80 /l I think was the highest I paid for it 🤣🤣The gc8 got a Wof, then I bought a jerry can and drove to Cromwell to get a tank-full + jerry can of 98 for a tasty $2.25 per litre... ouch.
