Hmn, a dealership shouldnt have to worry about high performance if it is a repair issue; It's not like it's too different. is the binding only when turning? sounds like the centre diff is packing it in tbh

for now chuck it all the way open and drive with it in manual mode. take it to a subaru dealer or specialist near you to check for codes in the ABS system, You'll get an ABS light if it is an abs fault though

What the heck is a 'shammy' hahaha... I don't think you can even blame Autocorrect for that.. it's not even close to spelling chamois correctly!!

Totally off topic question... Have you ironed your J Hat, or are you American?

I can't think of many things worse than 221kw in a FWD. LSD is just going to help you spontaneously change lanes more consistently... Having been in Golf GTI's and Mazda 3 MPS's that are mostly stock and yet wheelspin like a demon and aggressively torque steer I can't say I am a fan. However as a race car I do see the value to a turbo FWD as at least you then have the grip to control it.
Ohh and as for 2WD vs 4WD, I think it's a matter of environment. I beat a Focus RS at a hillclimb not that long ago in my E30. That wasn't due to car though, it was entirely the driver being a bit slow. I love the turn-in ability of a RWD (the best feature of my E30), but I also love the revvy nature of an old N/A FWD Honda too. And then 4WD is simply the funnest way to launch, so it's all matter of what you want from a car.
And lets face it, almost no one on this forum is going to drive their car to the actual limit of the cars ability at any time, so ultimate handling is irrelevant, it's more what handling makes you happy...
driven to the limits of re003's on the track.

However: DC2 integra type R's are F***ing cool, That'd be the honda I'd go for if I were to go honda.
Let's take the new Type R civic engine and running gear- and put it in the back of a gokart. -
If any get selected hmu for hi res versions
I'll submit some more later.Yeah, good.

Hot chocolate ended up being a flat battery so it never ended up happening. This should be a good one ideally.

i'd insist storage at my house due to the personal gear inside it
and salvage as many mods as possible while it's parked waiting for the assessor, because if they write it off (they normally will for airbag deployment) you cant salvage any mods after the fact
YEAH HE HIT THE CAR SO HARD THE WHEELS AND TURBO FLEW OFF!!

Alright finally home with a couple of broken bones in the nose, due for an op some time in the next couple of weeks.
On a side note.
Would anyone know if I can remove the car from towies storage yard and get it to my place without upsetting the insurance company too much? Personally I do not see why not, it is my car after all?
Or yeah, a young Chinese national has not admitted his fault and thinks he was in the right to go over a stop line, such a nice dude!
A S I A N D R I V E R S A R E N ' T T H E P R O B L E M
T H E Y S A I D.
Shouldnt be an issue; If they ask why- just say to avoid the towies storage fee.
and their assessors can come to your place to assess damage.

G'day, been doing a heap of tidying up on my 1992 GT legacy, one thing which needed to be done was removing the old cracked rain gaurds which brow the front windows. I have been left with a horrible, (even worse looking than before looking) sticky adhesive which is very stubborn to remove. Can any one help me and provide a quick way to remove this? Am planning on painting the brow anyway so if paint is damaged in the process not worried. Cheers pat
CRC Peel Off is the goods for removing it, spray on let it soak for a little bit and it pretty much wipes it away. havent used it on car paint before but it works bloody good all other locations and times ive used it.

Gotcha. Who is the go to person around AKL for tuning?
PBMS is a logical choice

Not sure that I can resist modding the STi for another 2 years
Question is, if I did take the plunge, what to do? I am mindful that the 2.5 needs to be teated with kid gloves so need to be sensible. Let's say up to an absolute max of 7k. Thoughts....
7K for mods or
7k for mods including tune?
Exhaust, intake, fuel pump, big injectors, boost control Solenoid (MAC valve) and a good tune.
FMIC- if frontal impact allows it.
depending on what parts/make you get that'll get you there under budget.
and if you have any left over after that, some under body bracing.

/me kicks 94 Leone to see if he's like a piggy bank and if money drops out.
In all seriousness though. We know it's not your fault. It's just how to prove exactly what / who is at fault is hard but I'll make it happen.
Can assist in manual labour, dancing, beer drinking and morale. also, helping with your setup will help give me ideas for when I inevitably go holset lol.
