  1. Hi there, I am looking to import a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI (Non S204/Spec C/RA-R etc) from Japan as a 'Special Interest Vehicle'. After 10 years, I am finally in the position to be able to get one. The reason why I have chosen to import is that they are basically non-existence and they never pop but for sale. I have done my research extensively and of the 3 criterias for importing one, I am able to fulfill 2 of them. The one im struggling to find is that they were produced in volumes of less than 20,000 annually. Just based on the fact that I see more blobeyes and bugeyes comapred to hawkeyes leave me to believe they did produce less than 20,000 of them. Would anyone know where I could find the production numbers or if someone has imported one in the past, to point me in the right direction? A friend of mine have imported one back in 2017 so i know it is possible. Plus, there have been a few in the NZTA list in the past few years. Thanks Heaps
  2. I recently put superlow kings springs in my 2010 wrx sti. I did this before in a different car without having any comfort issues (ultra low actually), but now the sti isnt driving nearly as nice as it did before. Reading online now it seems obvious I need to replace the shocks, I didn't realise that and couldn't be bothered paying for coilovers at the time, what shocks should I buy for my car?
  3. I'm looking for the owner of a 1999 Gf8 Sti. The number plate is cju129. I know this might seem weird but a while back, around the start of this year I saw the car posted up on Trade Me. At that point in time I didn't have the funds to be able to purchase it, but now I have the right amount and was wondering if anyone could help me in tracking down the owner, in the hope that they might be willing to sell it. I know this seems like a long shot but I've been on the hunt for a nice Gf8 for a while now and this one is exactly what I'm looking for. I have a screenshot of it from nzbuysell.com where it was posted up months ago, but in all honesty have no clue how to add it to this post. (I'm new to the forum) From the information I've gathered it was sold from Manukau Park and Sell sometime this earlier this year and has around 120,000 kms on the clock. The paintjob is dark metallic grey. Cheers for any help in advance.
  4. Looking to buy this car - its a 2006 STi. I haven't seen the car in person, but this is an image showing the dashboard with various lights apparently flashing (please see image): https://ibb.co/eXKfHb Wondering why the following are are lighting up: -Engine light -Oil light -"R. Diff Temp." -DCCD The only description I've had so far is "There is a engine check light due to exhaust modifications." Not sure what kind of exhaust system it is. Thanks
