This hijacka person is a very honest and friendly guy. help me changed my downpipe, took like 3 hours, even gave me free replacement turbo bolts and gasket. all for a very good price. i would trust/get him to do other work on my car in the future.

i will probably just get that hijacka guy in christchurch to help with do it as i dont have tools and cant get under the car. only cost $50

fuel pump installed and tested.. after 5 hours LOL...

so u saying i can take the black box out which has the black and blue wire. and wire the red to the positive and black to negative?

im trying to reconnect the wires together but forgot which goes with which. there are 4 wires, 2 black, 1 red and 1 blue, the black and blue are both connected to a small black box thing in the middle of the bracket and the red and black goes to the top where the connector is plugged into. also the red and blue wires are both wrapped around in that plastic cover. can someone tell me which wires goes to the pump\'s + and - terminal??

so im guessing in this case. size doesn\'t matter? just want to make sure before replacing.

i have finally got the fuel pump out of my car. im a lil surprised to see that the pump in my car is actually bigger then the walbo one on going to be replaceing with?? almost twice the size. the thing is, my pump doesn\'t even look like the one on sparks link. http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic,292.0.html . can someone tell me if that is the factory pump or is that a AF already fitted?

i currently have a catback exhaust. not not the quietest exhaust out there, i will be looking to chuck on a xforce downpipe soon. what r the chances i will be needing a cert for that?

looking to sell the thing. just want to make sure i give the right description before advertising. so fits v7 upwards sti?

hey funky, what about the fuel pressure regulator? would i need to uprate that as i will be running a high volume fuel pump? or would it be able to recycle the fuel back alright?

does anyone know what intercooler this will fit onto? it doesn\'t fit gc8 for sure. i think it\'s for v8,9,10 sti? maybe v7 aswell?

lol sorry that was a bad way to put it. what i meant to say was how much lph does a factory pump put out?just want to know if a standard fuel pump would be good for light tune or would i need a bigger one.

hey, i was thinking of doing the same to mine as theres a bit of oil in it.. how long did it take and was it easy to do?

has any of u\'s actually done this before? i just wanna know if this is something that can be done without a car lift.

since my car has a carbon bonnet. the splitters bolt holes dont line up correctly with bonnet. so i have just decided to sit the splitter on the IC and connected up the water spray lines with hose and a Y connector. next steep will be to somehow raise the splitter about half a cm and secure the splitter so it doesn\'t move about at all when cornering. any suggestions from anyone as to how to do this would be good.?

i think the reason it was over tighten is because there wasn\'t a washer? i have just put a new washer in it and had tighten it up well.. r u saying i should not have it not too tight then?
