  1. Ive replaced all the spark plugs and runs alot better now, but it has a miss above 10psi... I may have gapped the plugs wrong, anyone know the gap spec?
  2. The hoses seem to be alright, I'll have a real good look at them today, but I'm sure its an electrical problem because it runs normal after resetting the ECU then the problem returns randomly again.
  3. yeah knocking crossed my mind, is there any way to adjust base ignition timing?? I'm running BP98 octane as with all my cars I own, pulled one plug out after work today and its pretty shagged so hoping that is part of the problem, also I think the thermostat isn't quite opening fully as well so will be replacing that tomorrow also.
  4. Yeah its starting to be such a hassle, is there some sort of a safe mode it gets stuck into if something else is not right? I guess if there was it would be throwing a code.... hmmm so lost
  5. The car is a 95 gt legacy, for some reason it only wants to boost 7psi on both turbos ??? The ecu is throwing no codes, and when I reset the ecu the car will run normal boost for a while then it goes back to 7psi randomly and stays there. I have recently replaced the AFM and Cam angle sensor, changing the plugs this weekend but Im at a loss as to what to check next. boost solenoid?? where and what is that, Im pretty amatuer when it comes to turbo systems but will learn fast. appreciate any help, thanks
  6. The neutral switch will be on the gearbox, and from what I can tell from looking at it, I think there's another for reverse as well, don't quote me on that, Im a subaru newb..
  7. I reset the ecu and now it boosts fine, but sometimes at high boost it cuts ignition
  8. My BG5 has just started doing this on Saturday, Im sure it had never done it before. Then I went to the mountain and now it just sits on 7psi on both turbos and wont go any higher, so frustrating!!
  9. As above, simple as really, been to a few places but has been pretty steep price wise, I don't mind spending the cash, just thought I'd listen to suggestions first. Thanks
  10. Yeah thats why im confused because inner was so easy. Cheers
  11. Hey as in the title, I can't quite figure out how to get the outer front CV off the axle in a BG5 Leggy. Any advice is appreciated The whole assembly is out of the car so its just a matter of getting it off, I think I will just buy the whole replacment axle assembly for the other side lol. Jamie
  12. I can easily get 550km to a tank in my BG5 GT
  13. Yeah it threw up a 27 (LR wheel speed sensor) and a 51 (ABS valve relay) I tested it (The relay) last week according to the service manual and it seemed alright, I'll disconnect the battery while Im at work and see if the codes clear.gs in. Ive only cleaned the wheel sensor (it was very dirty), I'll test it for continuity tonight if I can find where it plugs in.
  14. That will be a last resort haha, but I'd rather solve the problem.
  15. Hi, its coming up to warrant time and I have a ABS light that won't go away. I've cleaned the wheel sensors etc and reset ECU, but the light is still there. Is there anyway to read the code without buying an OBD code reader machine? Thanks
