my car made 199.5kw atw on a ej20, so tbh if its only gunna get another 20kw from doing 2.5lt its really not worth it, im upgrading turbo at same time so im unsure weather to go twisted with a t3t4 or similar or go for a straight bolt up td05 20g

Hi All. Well the time has come to possibly get a new block, So i am tossing up the two options, has anyone done this before, it is for a v6 sti.

Had a very hard life, after this rebuild, should go even better, esp with a bigger turbo etc also

Exactly haha, Funds will be the stopping of it tho haha

Soon to be rebuilt, with possbile twisted turbo, Unsure yet tho, keeping options open

Alright well motor is out, fully stripped down, turns out 2 pistons are abosolutely destroyed, pictures to come , turbo is also stuffed, big chunks out of every fin :-[

Motor comes out tomorrow, after that, will be writing list of parts and starting to source bits and peices.

No noises or anything, im presuming its white because it was at night and u cud see it, but could of been any colour tbh,

No fuel smell at all, just the oil in exhaust etc as stated above, other than that nothing.

just alot of smoke, all white haha, i could proberly start the car by pumping accelerator, but not really to keen to do that, highly likely able to do compression test also. would you recomend getting one done?

Hello All Well on friday, my 99 v6 sti, lost power very suddenly, and next thing alot of smoke poured out of the exhaust, when i pulled over and turned it off their was no smoke or anything from under the bonnet, i pulled off intercooler pipes on the turbo side and their is oil all thru there, and oil in the exhaust also, the car currently wants to start, but just wont, id imagine it would if i pumped the accelerator a few times, but dont want to try to hard and risk doing more damage, Is this a case of blown turbo or something else? Any help would be great.

Hi All, I urgently need 2 front springs plus struts that are standard for my gc8, ive got the back, but the fronts i got are wrong and the prick wont txt me back, if anyone could help ASAP, that would be awesome, Ill only need them for a day or so to swap over and get a wof. Cheers
