i was going to say fuel pump problem aswell or the plug under the rear seat the leads to the fuel pump always frys itself and one day just wont start

is it leaking? they rust out all the time the factory ones

haha ive spent enough for a very good deposit on a house on my cars. what sort of puel pump are you running? just a walbro 500hp or something? or a high pressure one?

yeah man thats all good. yeah considering mine only has a standard pump in it, its brand new but would still need to be bigger. if i didnt have to buy 2 engines for it then yeah i would have definatly done it but its cost me $6000 as it is since i got it

yeah ill probably just keep the vf22 but was just a thought of getting a bit more power but the way i see it, for the money im going to have to spend to get it running any good im going to have to spend more money than its worth. yeah man i will. what day suits you best?

could you fit the 22g in the factory mounting position tho? cos i dont want to have to do a twisted setup and this one fits in the original position

yeah i like the drivibilty that the vf22 has, still being responsive when you put your foot down and still having enough power aswell. was just a thought cos i got offered it for $500 practically brand new

so it wouldnt really be a big gain for the extra money i would have to spend on getting new injectors to suit and another tune

yeah i would be keeping it at 15psi for more reliability. what sort of power figure would mine be putting out now anyone know? someone with the same mods?

hey guys im looking at getting a td06 20g as the title says. just wondering if any of use have had one of these on your car and what it goes like? the guy im thinking of buying it off said it was quite laggy compared to his vf 22 but that was on a standard motor. with mine running extractors and a possum link would it spool it up much faster? he said hes got 231kwatw with that one on running 18psi. what sort of power do u think mine would be running with sti motor, vf22, extractors, yellow top injectors and external running 15psi? just to compare the difference between the two

just brought version 6 grill and headlights for $400 for the lot. i thought that was a steal. so they will be fitted up tonight

im in invercargill and when it first went to the car sales it had a set of white wheels on it and looked way nicer. some guy brought it for a while then took the wheels off and sold it back to the car dealer and its still the same price now as it was the first time it turned up. they reckon it has had $50g spent on it

yeah just put the original fuel and temp gauges in for the time being but still got white speedo and rev counters. yeah i sort of attempted to get the needles off but they dont wana move and id agree they would be a bloody mission to get off let alone get them back on

everythin on the back of it is exactly the same as my original cluster that came out of it but the temp gauge was f****d and nothing seems to want to work on it. put the priginal 1 back in and it goes straight away

yeah duno why its sitting like that. wired it up and none of the dials are reading anything so better make sure its hooked up right. shouldnt matter if mine doesnt have the dccd should it?

new dash cluster went in today. does anybody know what car these gauges came out in or are they aftermarket sti?

paid $438. just the misses takin out and they checked it for knocks and all that sorted guff and tuned to 15 pound

had my car up at the turbo shop in dunedin to get a proper tune on it. running like a dream now. found out that the guys at john mckenzie automotive in invercargill thought that they knew how to tune it. dont think running the timing out by 7 degrees and running it really lean on fuel is the right way to do it so wouldnt reccommend them to anyone to get work done on your car

yeah ive never heard of that brand before and only says good for 450hp

ive had version 6 1s and theyre pretty plain and had black angel eyes and now everyone has them so i just want it to be a bit different and have something that not everyone else has pretty much

FYI We're taking the piss with the reactor speakers. And the trademe link I posted-guys an idiot they used to sell them at the warehouse for abour $100 for the two He's trying if hes gonna get 250 let alone his buy now price. yeah i know just sayin infinity arent overly expensive in the price range unless you want to go towards competition speakers. yeah hes kidding himself if he thinks hes gunna get that much for them

i paid $170 for my infinity speakers which is far cheaper than a set of pioneers or any japanese brand to get the same sound quality.
