  1. Cheers for the offer man but have had a few people offer me some $$ for the wheels and have been looking at a few sets off yahoo auctions. If they don\'t go through I might just buy some Rotas because I can get a set that will sit a little further in. Reason for this is when fitting the wheels I can see it working but so much of the wheel sits out from the body that when you look from behind it looks weird. I would rather have a slightly higher offset and then use spacers later on. I think mine are 10/8kg I\'d like to go stiffer but putting things on hold while I find wheels I really want.
  2. Reasonably stiff! depends what you\'re after really. If you want stiffer you can set preload higher. I bought them because I got them cheap. If you want to go low I would recommend looking elsewhere as I\'m at the limit in the back. Definitely wouldn\'t say they are bad. Alternatively I talked to someone running HSDs and if I were to buy more I think I\'d try those.
  3. The car\'s primary use is driving around town at 50~km so it will handle fine. I have the standards if I want to go to the snow. I got 2 free tyres the other night from a guy off VASK (vw forum). Initially looked pretty worn but only looked at one tyre. It was all I needed as I\'m seeing if the tyre is the right size but the 2nd one I got has heaps of tread left! pity I won\'t be buying the same brand because they\'re too expensive
  4. Some may not agree but I think it looks good on the grids too. Just not with the blue. On his Facebook there are pictures with much more conservative camber and it looks quite good to me. But then he goes and puts stickers on fenders and all the other bits
  5. Did a sneaky Facebook stalk. How young is he? I\'m no oldie but come on. He looks 12! Might explain the finish on the wheels?
  6. Yeah I want to get the camber arms so that I can adjust it. Once wheels are on I\'d like to get it set at as little camber as I can while still fitting the wheels.
  7. My understanding is you can\'t get a cert for camber anymore. But you can cert camber arms. So if I go in for a re-cert with camber arms to neutralise the camber then its certed for that mod. Then after that you can adjust your camber because unlike your height restrictions on the cert plate there\'s nothing about a camber tolerance. Its certified for the camber arms? As for the adjustables I am already certed for those but I would recert the height if I were to install camber arms as my cert height is not as low as I would like it to be. The whole not being able to cert camber is stupid though. At my current height I have -2degrees in the rear which wouldn\'t be certifiable if they were strict on it, but you can get the same height on lowering springs. My friend\'s B4 is at the same height almost and he is just on springs. I can go a lot lower though I have a fair bit of room to adjust
  8. 25k seem a bit steep for that? Pretty sure 10 grand of that is from when he blew it up
  9. Hadn\'t seen it on trademe but have seen the photos. I don\'t want to run that much camber. I\'ve kind of accepted that this will look a little rough. Should be fine though. I only bought the wheels because they were cheap. Probably will move to something more conservative, or a car that can fit the wheels properly
  10. Just to show he is tucking tyre. So I presume his wheel is pretty much in the guard. Looks like its pulled to its limits though!
  11. Front shocks? The camber tops on D2s are weird. So when you adjust the camber you bring the toe in as well. Apparently it\'s meant for track days (which this car won\'t be attending haha) if it causes any problems ill be replacing with something else
  12. Just looked again. In the snow pic he is tucking tyre. He\'s tucking all round. In the message he sent me he didn\'t even need camber mods in the rear just rolled fender and a bit of a pull. He had more trouble in the front but I\'m assuming thats because he didn\'t have camber top plates in the front.
  13. The legacy I posted isn\'t that low in the back in those pictures but he does get pretty low. I messaged him but he has no camber mods whatsoever. Owen Trowbridge you mean? yeah I saw his B4 but he\'s also got spacers pushing the wheel out even further. I\'ll have to order the whiteline arms
  14. Did you see the B4 on rota wheels Facebook page? He\'s got a whiteline camber and toe kit it makes a huge difference. I\'m not talking about bushes. I should be getting my wheels on by the end of the month
  15. Once I\'ve bought my whiteline camber and toe kit my wagon should be looking like that!
  16. Is it possible to swap from flush to raised rails and vice versa?
  17. Tyre won\'t get near the strut. There\'s literally an inch or more clearance inside
  18. Found this on another forum. He\'s running 18x9.75s +20 which poke out a few mm more than what mine should, So I am reasonably confident it will work. There wouldn\'t be any major differences between a USDM and JDM Legacy as far as suspension was concerned right? Link to his thread: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/my-2002-subaru-legacy-gt-bh-wagon-189401.html It started off pretty rough but it works
  19. What size tyres are you running? and brand?
  20. What are the wheel specs? I like the look of them! After I have fitted my stupid wheels that nobody agrees with I would be keen on something more like this.
  21. Anybody know a way to get more/less camber in the rear? From what I\'ve found its not adjustable from factory. In the UK some people use camber kits for BP/BL legacys. Will that work? I have about 2degrees negative camber at the moment from natural camber but looking for more. I know this affects handling I just want to fit my wheels. Front should be fine I have camber adjustable top hats
  22. Have you pulled the guards out at all or just rolled inner lip? And do you have camber in the top hats at the front? Looks sick btw. Rotas would have been easier to fit than these. But easy isn\'t fun
  23. Haha edaboc sticker for each side ;D. I would like it to be legal-ish. I know it\'s pushing it but I would like to see this through. Can\'t promise it will be fast though. Got to actually think this through and whether its worth it. Thing is cars not really worth anything anyway so why not go crazy?
  24. Will those fit on a legacy? I didn\'t think they make them?
  25. That looks sick! My issue will be getting camber in the back. This is meant to be my daily. Got to stop listening to my mates. But I\'m gonna try
