heya guys can anyone help me my abs light comes on when i turn my lights on .. abs does stop working until i turn the car off and back on again without the lights on .
its a 97 non sti wagon and previous owner has installed after market tinted tail lights ( my guess wiring issues )
also has a tow bar but no plug socket that i can see ....
can someone either post a link to wiring of the tail lights or a picture of what theres looks like etc and which are which if possible

Full tank (45L I think) about 350km. That's town driving with a little 80k zones.
cheers guys going off what ive seen so far im prob about right ... i have a equal length extractors and full mandrel 3" maybe 3.5 running 18's and pretty much mainly short stints to work and back daily about 700m 50km about 2km 70km then a short 5km to work and park it for the day . in my weekends it gets out for a play but only when i can afford it lol

I have no idea how many K's i get to the tank,I fill it up and then drive it till i fill it up again.
If i wanted economy I a/ would not own a Turbocharged car( of any type) and b/would make th missus drive as I drive "hard"....
lol yeh dont get me wrong im not having a whine about it or else id drive a prius or some crap lol
just wondering if im using more than most ?

nope not really ... i live in a small village so no i don't drive like a muppet lol
but no only thing it gets from time to time is a swift boot up it to pass a tractor or something

hey guys just a quick question or comparison on what sort of millage people are getting etc .
i know it will be slightly dependant on mods etc but i'd like to get some kinda ball park on where i should be .
i have owned a few in the past and my new one seems to go thru a shite load of gas compared to the last ones .
although the new car is a 97 type r sti coupe and the old ones were all 97 sti 4 doors i figured the gearing would come into play but i was getting anywhere from 500 to 600km a tank in the older versions
now i struggle to get above 320km per $120
am i alone in this or do the type r's really haul thru gas ????

mate i feel for you honest it do .... hopefully it comes back in one piece but without being a knob we know this hardly ever happens ...

what type of headers do you have?
not entirely sure most of it is heat wrapped but i did see a tag on it some place when i was doing the clutch last weekend .
sims or syms racing products or something like that by memory

Ugh would love to but i have equal length headers lol. Fml
out of curiosity ... would equal length headers mean you loose the "Subaru Noise"
mines got a set of headers on it and exhaust done too and seriously as ashamed as i am to say it it sounds like a corolla with a big bore .. :-[

Well firstly heya guys n gals
New to the forum had a few rex's before but got myself another recently .
little story behind it had a landcruiser swapped for a s14 silvia . swapped that for the latest rex ... its an um well you either love it or hate it i guess ( im still on the fence )
Now all i need is a new clutch ... Anyone have one
