Hi guys i am replacing my front door speakers with kicker 6.5s and i have found they dont fit in the factory bracket or if you remove the bracket they fit perfectly but they hit the power windows instead. What are my options? Cheers

would a ej20g alternator fit a lj20 suzuki motor?? I know a random question but i am selling my alternator and a guy wants to know if it can fit his suzuki?? Cheers

all cars increase in revs when clutch in compressor kicks in, its putting more load on the engine, thats why a/c takes up more fuel cause ur reving higher,

i wasnt meaning to test quantity of refridgerant by seeing if revs increase, i meant to check if the a/c system is functioning at all if compressor is operating. And yes you are correct about sight glass.

ok first all of does the engine increase revs when you press the a/c button??? or if u have it running with a/c on and fans blowing you should see the compressor pulley spinning, if not the clutch isnt engaging and ur air con system is not working either a fuse, compressor not plugged in, or a crook compressor, if it is spinning and picking up revs when on, ur a/c system is working but you will need a regass, which just invloves evacuating the system and recharging to the required quantity. and just a caution if compressor is not operating, its possilbe its fucked it self and put metal shaving through out your whole a/c system so it will all have to be removed and flushed with white spirits, and replace tx valve ect, so dont chuck on a new compressor if the old one doesnt go, cause the shavings will only fuck the new one. cheers

if so i would just check fuses, and most likely the central locking control unit could be faulty, or just maybe you have crook door motors but i doubt they would all go but it is possible

so using the key in the door it just locks the driver door???

haha thanks, like i really just want to buy a wrx in blue, but painting is a nightmare and very expensive so maybe it is easier to turbo it since i have a wrecked car

this motor has a engine code of ej20gdw5ne. Can someone give me some details about the motor at all??? and also i have the full exaust extractors huge bore and all, plus all 4 door cards, and the motor has all add ons like alternator, starter motor top mount ect. i spent 120 bucks off a mate for it all. what is the best way to make money out of this???? how much is the whole exhaust worth ect????? cheers guys

there is one on trademe which just expired, And it is fully blue in colour not two toned, has just normal seats, no rear wing ect, reckon it would be allgood to do up??? its already certed on adjusties and got wheels, 6500 he wants, has 90,000ks on the clock

just dont know the lingo mate, i have rebuilt several 4ks (which i know are easy) and nissan motors, If i have the workshop manual how hard can it be?? it shows you step by step.... And end in tears?? i spent 50bucks on it... Not a big loss, and if it is fucked ill get that money back in scrap metal. Yet alone will be a big learning curve, Im a auto sparky apprentice by trade, i may not know all the mechanical side that well, but it isnt hard to pick up.

ok so i bought a ej20t off my mate for 50bucks, it has a blown head gasket and it still runs of course but when you put revs on there is a knock in motor but not in idle, what bearing would of gone???? is this motor fixable to strip down and rebuild???? or worth it?? and anyone got a workshop manual for one??? any help would be much appreciated cheers

yea that looks allgood but i in south island. but i wont really be wasting money as i need to cert anyway for front mount adjusties ect. and i have a whole other car with all the bits there like everything. the brakes look the same to me???? are they different to a wrx????

Nah man I will chuck a new motor in or rebuild his motor and chuck that in. My current n.a. motor will just be sold 2nd hand to someone
