can I replace the flexy joint in the exhaust manifold with just a normal piece of pipe on a bg5? cheers

have always run 95 without a problem might have to try 98. checked the vacc line you pointed out, no kink or split in it.

No codes, will try cleaning the boost solenoid. cheers

Ive got a bg5 legacy thats playing up. depending how it feels it will only boost 7psi, other times it will hit between 12 -15 psi on primary then hit boost cut after coming on to the secondary. any ideas on whats going on?

have fixed all boost leak but im still getting boost building really slow and a strutter around -10hg. any ideas as to what it could be? Cars a BG5 cheers

not sure if its blowing black smoke under boost, but does spit out black sooty droplets of water some mornings.

it was when lifting off the gas.

drives fine just low on boost, replaced venting bov with factory and flutter is gone. gona do a boost leak check tomorrow, what psi do u recommend i put through it?

i thought that but u should only get that when running no bov right?
