but they spent hte money to say that its a "vf36" or 37 whatever it was...the only thing 37 on it was the cover.... They were trying to show what can be done with a "factory" turbo which is a load of rubbish really

From what iv been todl that turbo cost close to $10k to build..how true that is im not sure but was from a pretty good source....So the fact they claim they used a factory turbo is pretty irrelevant.

Pivot speed meter cheap and easy to put in...

So pl0x and I changed his gearbox in my olds bach garage, and well he spilled oil everywhere.. And as you can imagine the house now stinks of it. Any ideas of what i can do to get rid of the smell before the olds come over for summer lol..

We did one in b4 last week took us 2 nights a couple of hours a night. Took diff and subframe out, smashed old bushes out and smashed new bushes in and whacked back together. Not to hard at all. 80 for the bushes is pretty cheap they retail for much more through subaru

You cant "tune it" as such.. I think this term may have carried over from when cars had carbies that needed adjusting loL. You may need a new AFM. Only cars with a factory reflashable ecu (2000 onwards) or a aftermarket ecu such as a LINK, Motec, Microtec, Vipec etc can be "tuned"

What exactly do you mean by "tuning" ...what is your car and what mods does it have.

Theyl be the same for any single scroll subaru turbo basically.

I never knew rage sold headers??? They probably decent quality to there other stuff seems to be. Wonder how much they are?

Redline has generally had reasonable headers from what iv heard i think a few members here run them. Otherwise you probbaly limited on reasonable priced choices

STA headers are rubbish. Have seen 2 sets sent to the same workshop and BOTH had a upipe about 50mm to short and STA didnt want to know about it. Once upon a time they usedto have decent products but now most of it is chinese junk and of a very poor quality. Also know people who have had trouble having them coming to the party with faulty goods etc.

Talk to Subout he had a EZ30D for his BH and had loom and ecu etc from memory but never finished..He got quite far i think though
