  1. When I resolderd the O2 wires I noticed one wire which I think is the signal to ecu was grey with another wire wrapped around it shielding wire mayb?
  2. sooo ive checked and replaced wiring to 02 sensor im stilling getting a combined CEL of 24 and 32 ive cleaned ICV checked 02 wiring. BOV is tight the CEL doesnt always come on and the idle issue goes away by itself. i havnt tryed replacing top of the ICV yet what would cause both these CELs to come on . Im adamant theres no intake leaks its got new gaskets samco underintake pipe etc. One thing i ve also noticed is a stong fuel smell comes and goes.
  3. surprisngly the springs didnt really ping off very much haha was funny i thought it was gunna go flying all sorted now springs all swapped over snapped one hub bolt getting the strut out...not so good
  4. could i crack that nut ontop of the strut while still bolted in car i dont have a rattle gun lol ive got a set of spring compressors
  5. is it just the one nut on top off strut to take tophat off to be able to replace springs?
  6. I extended all 3 was just curious . Im thinking mayb a wire has come loose or solder joint has broken or a possibility that the gauge of wire I used was to thick making it harder for signals to get through wires to 02 sensor properly . I took icv off cleaned it thoroughly used new oem gasket. I disconnected the 02 temporarily to test fir any changes. Nothing at all changed idles the same as it's connected

  10. Samco under intake pipe factory airbox. I've heard of intake gaskets not seating properly and causing similar issues. How do I test O2 at the ecu?
  11. Going to try clean icv anyone know a good way to clean them and what to use? I've got an oem gasket unused so mite aswell chuck it in
  12. It's defintely not a leak most vaccum leaks have a pop and vaccum gauge jumps in my experience so I'm guessing it's something silly hopefully

So I have an intermittent idle issue in gtb converted single turbo. car runs sweet when cold once warmed up and after driving a little check engine will come on last time I managed to catch the code it was 32 which I believe is 02 sensor since tgen I have replaced it and still have the same issue. Idle will fluctuate between 800 rpm and almost stalling. If I tap on accelerator and give it a rev it will go back to normal idle.ive checked for vac leaks etc found none. I did extend the wires for 02 to reach the headers at bottom of upipe so mayb a broken connection or the wires I used which I took from an old intake loom is mayb to thick?
  15. Just curious can you not run 315 Mm rotors on suby 4 pots
  16. I been reading you can use them but need adapter plates as the mounts are different but you can run bigger rotors than the suby oned
  17. Someone was telling me the Nissan r32 4 pots are identical to subaru ones true or false
  18. It cranked over perfectly in another car before removal so I don't think it's motor gunna change plugs rest leads and coilpack . Double priming fuel pump doesn't make a difference either
  19. Does it all the time it's more like 3-4 winds before starting runs fine after til O2 starts playing up code for 02 comes and goes along with rough idle when warmed up fluctuates almost stalls
  20. what would be possible causes for a car to take awhile to start i know most subarus ive had startup almost after the 1st wind over currently the car wil wind 4 to 5 times before starting ? ive replaced battery so i know thats not the issue
  21. A rear muffler like tip? I've got another tip it's a jasma fjjitsubo one one on it niw is apexi. Booked in to get a resonator put in guy told me it shouldn't effect performance
  22. Will a resonator quiten my exhaust down? Or what's better to use to quiten it?
  23. took car into magoos today to get cat removed and pipe welded in for WOF got that done took car back in for wof and failed on excessive noise... goddamnit 98 dbs ... anyone used exhasut silencer Tips before?
