So if its 14 years old does it still require a cert? Guess i got to put mine back on for another few months ;(

oh really how hard is to remove all the airbag related items? and you still need to get a cert? how do the WOF'ers even know that you changed out an airbag? - apart from AIRBAG light.

Yeah i know that but you can get it certed and you also can if the car is over 14 years old

Trying to swap out my SRS MOMO airbag steering wheel for a normal steering wheel with no airbag. I got a boss kit but its not that straightforward. I think i may need to get a "Airbag boss kit". Is there any way to do it without getting one and using the boss kit i have? Its for a Version 6 STi. Thanks for any help

Apparently fibre ones are the best, although i did try and get a copper one but didnt know where to get one and repco/supercheap dont have them. Yeah i have no idea if there is leaks on the box seals nearby, thats kind of what im asking, like could it possibly be anything else apart from a bad seal on the sump plug?

I put in a brand new washer and my sump plug seemed pretty good. Any idea where to get a new sump plug if that was the problem? Oh its for an STi RA 1999 btw i forgot to say

Recently changed gearbox oil as it was really low and i found it had been leaking and was really low. Last person who changed hadnt put a washer on it so i bought a fibre washer and changed it etc. Now its been about a week but its still leaking, drips coming off the sump bolt. Anybody have any idea why/what to do? Thanks

Ended up going to buy Syntrax from repco - $43 per litre So i went to supercheap auto and they dont even stock Syntrax anymore -.-

So i got a synchro crunch going from 3rd to 4th and running low on gearbox oil so gonna change asap, what is the best do you think to change it to to reduce the syncro crunch? Has anybody found if anywhere stocks the Extra-S? Otherwise is Syntrax the way to go? Cheers
