  1. Did you use a mirror? They are tucked well in there. To my knowledge V7 STI dont have them... (going by his profile pic)
  2. yeah V7 spec C is ment to be crossdrilled but not in the normal sti. but cranks are only first nitrated in V8 spec C..
  3. Nah not really, might just be a tad lean (not much at all I would amagine tho) at 4.2K to 4.8K rpm ish but that all depends how much boost its making by that RPM?! Be good if you have a dyno day in your area some time as for $80 odd you cant go wrong to get a AFR printout and abit of fun/piece of mind lol Ive seen a few in the past running parallel and have been for ages. Others here might have different experence but im sure theyl post up if so.. Hows the fuel economy so far?

    Smokey WRX

then as stated you have large engine problems as it cant go back towards the engine from the turbo seals so therfor will most likly be a melt down (piston) or similar. Compression test it and you know what cylinder etc but id start saving $ or looking at engine/rebuild options now
  5. BTW you would really want to disconnect the vac line to the actuator under your intercooler (and bung the rubber hose end) and it should go quite abit better again as that holds boost from returning to the intake vai stationary compressor wheel of the secondary when only the primary is spooling below 4.5K rpm or whatever it is factory. But now it will be blocking the secondarys compressor outlet till 4.5K rpm....
  6. its not a wategate. Its the actuator for the secondary turbo to actuate the "2 stage" aka second turbo at what ever RPM the ECU decides etc. By removing that with the headers you are now a parellel twin turbo really so both turbos spool at the same time hence the little extra initial lag but no VOD between turbos as factory they spool one after the other creating early spool up of the primary on its own but then the small gap as it allows exhaust gases to the secondary turbo to make it work... Hope that makes sence lol
  7. What dealer is that? Like wingers or?? Cus that would be great lol. One of my friends works at repco and I even made him ring their supplier and try get a hold of a 4 or 5L pack and they told him they dont come in 4-5L anymore. I wast like wtf so just suffered and paid up, not retail atleast but was till a good bit more the $103 for the 5 of them
  8. I use Castrol Syntrax 75w90 Pappu, stupidly expensive now days but good stuff! Repco sells it.... @ 42.99 per 1L lol and they dont make a 4L
  9. not manifold vaccume, it goes to just before the throttle butterfly not after it. well to my knowledge lol...
  10. Would ither have to put them in the engine then : or make the passenger compartment a combustion chamber for that theory to work .
  11. I know!!! Taking all the bros for rides and doing hellies etc with no respect as they didnt pay for it!!! annoys me no end (same thing happened when my YZ250 got stolen from our batch 2 years ago at christmas) soon as we left the muppets started riding it round and doing wheelies etc thinking they were the s*** little did they know the nabours are friends and were there for another week! bottom line.......80hrs community service >. Got my bike back tho ;D.
  12. Yep prol from some hot version 8/9 . Hows the ignition lol that way they can bulls*** their way past breath stops and radom pullovers if they had enough brains to use white GC8 plates on it (highly doubt ). Shows the depth of trying to claim whats NOT theirs!!!!!!
