    theres a couple of reasonably priced wrx's and sti's on turners, good km's too

    Thanks mate, but I'm looking to find a Lancaster (2.5 or 3.0) or a nice Forester Turbo... my last option could be a Legacy TS type R III gen (1998 - 2000). Few weeks ago it was a nice one, white and manual in Chch but has been sold :(

    I'm waiting to get a money to make the purchase, if not I have to sell my Mitsu and then buy something... there's a Lancaster6 in Chch that looks nice, and also a black one in Nelson, but not sure if buy that one there can be cheap for me. No buses from Qtwn to Nelson, and flights are too expensive and the guy does not accept offers >:(.

    I'll check Turners, thanks for that! ;)

    Not to be a grammar nazi, i worked with a guy from santiago for a year, and he had a bit of trouble with the language, so i know how hard it may be- but 'quiet' is to not make much noise, where you mean 'quite' very easy to mistype- i just noticed through alot of your posts, quiet used where quite should be. Not a biggy, but just for future reference ;D

    There's trademe, sella- sometimes eBay if you want horrendous prices for shipping.

    LOL thanks for that mate! I'm here to improve and learn another language... its not easy always hahaha

    Gracias =)

    i think qtwn would be an ideal meeting place for the otago/southland members some great roads to drive the subbies and great photo opportunitys

    Sounds perfect!. I don't have at the moment a Subaru, but if some one here wants/can pick me up for the meet hahaha more than happy.

  5. Hey guys...

    Looking to buy my next Subby, my budget its around $4,500 and I like the Lancaster (even knowing those head gaskets problems) and also could be the Forester.

    To be honest I prefer the Lancaster and I saw some 2000's that looks fine. I was thinking in the Lancaster6 also, but a bit afraid of the consume with that generation of the 3 liter H6, so I'd like to hear what do you know from the 3 liters Lancaster. And as a second option I like the Forester but the Turbo one, no because of the Turbo, but for how it looks like. If somebody know of a second generation Forester in a low price much better cause I like that one more than the Lancaster, but its not easy to find one for 5k (probably with high kms).

    So, open to hear suggestions/opinions for all of you =)

    Cheers.

  6. My ex GT-B 1998 wagon auto gave me 11,2 km/L one time coming from Chch to Qtwn driving the last 120 km @ 90km/h cause it was night, not sure if the petrol could be enough to come to Qtwn and no petrol station open at night. Normally I was close to 515km per tank in the open road, and in town (Queenstown) I was around 390km.

    My Father's Outback 2.5 2006 make around 9km/l in the city and 13km/l in the open roads.
