  1. Fair call, was thinking of running it on the dyno. I can tell you, it certainly boosts harder, rips through vod easily etc. It\'s being run on 95-96 octane, as it was before the conversion. Might fill the tank with some 98, see if that helps it along. Have a new walbro pump to go in soon, that should help. Also, I already have pod filter, and full exhaust installed, so that will help with the tune.
  2. Hey all. I have recently converted my bg5 gt legacy from auto to manual. Didn\'t realise at the time, but the conversion came with a mines chipped ecu. Can someone please tell me if they are safe to use, or should I find a stock ecu? Thanks in advance **Also, thought I\'d better mention, the ecu is in the car, car is running alot better then it did before the conversion. Just worried now that the engine won\'t last, or something like that. Please enlighten me **
  3. So best bet would be find bh gt-b look and ecu, then swap it all over? Hmmm might just sell it and put the new turbos on current engine lol
  4. Thanks, but if was after a single turbo conversion I would have gone after one of them engines. Happened across a mint low kms bh motor and my engine has done a few kms so figured id use the mint block. What differences are there? How would I go about this? Suggestions, if any, would be helpful
  5. Hey everyone, just a quick question. I have a 95 bg5 gt wagon. I managed to get a mint hgt-b motor, and a full manual conversion for cheap. Was wondering what would need to be done to get the bh motor running in my bg? Does it require an engine loom change? Or can I get around it by only using the block, heads and turbos, and running everything off my old engine? Can anybody do this conversion for me for a reasonable price? Im in Chch. Cheers in advance for any questions answered
  6. Im sure they will fit, at worse maybe a tophat change may be needed otherwise you should be sweet. I have some v4 wrx shocks and springs for cheap you could use as spares if you want.
  7. Just another quick question to clarify, if I swapped the sedan rears for wagon rears then I wouldn't have the sag? And will they actually lower the whole car, like say a set of lows?
  8. How bad is the sag? Barely noticeable or smack you in the face kind of thing? Lol
  9. Cheers for the help. Is there anyway to reduce the bum sag with getting different rears? Scored a set of low ks wrx springs/struts for cheap. Just wondering if worth putting them in or trying to swap them for a different set-up.
  10. Hey people, have had a search through the forum but couldn't find an answer so here goes... Would v4 wrx sedan springs and struts bolt into my bg5 gt wagon? If so, would it sit right, lower at all etc? Any help would be good. Cheers ;D
