  1. Hi there I recently bought a 2001 wrx wagon. Factory auto but converted to manual, there's a few aftermarket wires floating roung but I've traced them all to the tcu for making the manual conversion work. But I have a 2 pin plug next to the boost solenoid that I have no idea if something should be connected to. I'm used to older wrx's where the map sensor and pressure exchange solenoid would be there. Any help's much appreciated
  2. Hi all I just bought a 2005 bp5 legacy gt, its idling rough like a cylinder's misfiring, also rough when cruising at a constant speed, and seems to be running fine under acceleration. I've replaced air filter, air flow meter, spark plugs and coils, as well as putting an injector cleaner through. I've seen a few threads online of people with similar problems but no fixes that have worked for me. Does anybody know anything else I should be checking/replacing Thanks in advance
  3. That didnt answer my question I wanted 2 know if the parts would fit. By the way wen I had a bc5 with the same gbox in it I was constantly told it was weak . At the mo the sti gearbox seems pretty weak as its already been rebuilt a couple times before I got it and has killed itself again. So right now I have a 99% straight sti wagon with fresh panel n paint done not long ago taking up driveway space. It needs 2 go with very little money spent
  4. Ive got a 95 v2 sti wagon with a slipping clutch and dodgey gbox and or diff so I wanna replace from flywheel 2 rear diff. I found a deal for good condition sf5 s/tb forester parts. Will they fit? And should I use my shafts or foresters? Cheers
  5. Thanks. Fuel pump made a huge difference considering the 1 it replaced didnt pump fuel. Having said all that are there any tt ecu\'s i could that would make a difference? I\'m pretty sure its an R6 in it now, blue sticker anyway. Im guessing not due to compression differences. Theres no problem with how the cars running or anything, its smooth, cheap on gas, beats b4\'s and keeps up with/sometimes passes sti wrxs, so im not really after more performance or anything, more a learning thing for myself, see what parts i can frankenstein together to get what results. One thing i would like to fix is the VoD that i\'ve nearly got gone, only drops 4-5psi when it opens up i/c valve now. I know really the only way is ST conversion but thats boring.

Hey there I have a 94 bg5 ej20h im running a slightly bigger fuelpump and 550cc yellow sti injectors with a semi parallel turbo setup, forged pistons and rods and a little extra boost, but with the standard ecu. My k&n air filter leaked oil onto my afm, so i\'ve switched to an apexi dry filter and i was going to replace the afm. My question is when getting a new afm are there any upgrade options that will play nice with the standard ecu? Im not worried if i hav to do a bit of wiring or repinning the plug, just dont want to replace the ecu or loom til i do an ST conversion. Thanks
  7. I dont really know chch very well but i was trying to find 98 last week, bp on corner travis rd&bower ave have 95, prestons&marshlands road have 95 and from memory papanui road does too, i feel bad for my legacy running it on 95 so can anyone confirm for sure where i can get 98?
  8. Sorry i missread your post thought u had a single turbo exhaust, dumb question but whats divorced? plate between wastegate and turbine port? and how much? I like the idea although im mainly looking for standard just to keep it cheap

Thanks heaps for the help guys, was mainly asking cos i need 1 for a wof and got offered a bd exhaust for cheap, i like my rear "muffler"/tip but the wof guys dont like the fact its a straight pipe even though it just passes noise tests, i do have a big rust hole just behind the cat though so its mainly just the center pipe i need to replace If anyone in chch has a full exhaust off bd or bg or parts of i have cash, let me know i need it to be legal by next weekend preferably, thanks in advance
  10. Hi there i have a bg5 tt legacy needing a new cat-back exhaust, can anyone tell me if a sedan exhaust will fit Also what about other models? How swappable are exhausts, eg would a be/bh exhaust fit? or bc/gc catback? being single turbo im guessing not, any info would be much appreciated

    TPS wiring

    Sweet i found after reading heaps of electrical manuals for them that i can skip the extra wire. 1 part thats got me stuck though, the 6pin iacv, can it be wired to fit the 3pin plug or will it be a case of making an adaptor to fit the old throttle body? Would rather do a wiring job if possible

    TPS wiring

    Hey does anyone know if a 4wire bh5 gt tps can be wired as a 3wire to fit a BC gt loom and ecu? Any help would be much appreciated. Also same question again for the water temp sensor, BH sensor is 3wire, BC is 2wire Thanks in advance, so close to being ready to drive.
  15. Will a set of version 8 wrx springs(pink sti branded) fit a 94 legacy from with bilstein shocks with an even ride height? If not does anyone know what they will fit? Or just gd/gg wrx?
