  1. I\'ll give changing the hose and relocating it a go for now and hopfully that will show an improvement. Would one of the two lines just above the red electrical protector in the top pic i added be the best spot to move it to?
  2. Could you possibly point which one you\'d put it on as there\'s quite a few lines on that pic. Looking around on the net it seems quite common to have it on the line where it currently is.
  3. yea i read something about removing that hose the other day, can\'t remember where it was, probably here. is that nipple in the top or bottom pic?
  4. checked spark plugs a few weeks ago and were fine. is that tee\'d in where it should be. and the second pic is where the line had been squashed my the cable ties which i moved about a week ago, don\'t think that should have affected anything though. reckon its worth taking it in and getting a thorough look through for leaks?
  5. i know it has a very minor oil leak on the primary turbo, becomes greasy around intake but doesn\'t actually drip. took it to a subaru specialist mechanic who seemed to think it wasn\'t a major and shouldn\'t affect performance. fuel consumption seems alright don\'t know exactly but its not bad enough to have considered it a problem. idling seems alright, maybe a tad low though sometimes it seems like its getting near the point where it wants to stall.
  6. ok so at idle it shows 13psi vacuum, at 3-3.5 heavy acceleration it shows 3-4psi, and at around 6k its at roughly 12psi does that sound more like a faulty gauge or primary turbo has seen better days?
  7. Yea i saw that one a while back, i was more interested in what people thought of their gauges, quality wise
  8. I\'ll give the 2nd turbo a go tonight, don\'t ring it out that hight often. What should it roughly read when off boost? Off memory it will sit at about -10 when at around 2000rpm
  9. When i got my B4 RSK it had a autogauge boost gauge which from looking around is one of the cheaper options. I\'ve heard they can be out by a few psi and could anyone who has or previously had one confirm. My problem is when on primary boost it only shows 3-4 psi and i\'m not really sure whether theres a leak or just a s*** gauge. I took the car to a mechanic a while back and he couldn\'t find anything he thought was off with the car, and since i haven\'t had it for long don\'t really know what the power should feel like when running sweet. Also could i get confirmation of what boost others are getting off the primary? So basically what gauges are worth getting and are pretty accurate, defi ones look to be the best bet but someone with experience may sway me to another brand.
  10. Looking at the link site they only have links for impreza\'s. is it just a matter of getting the same unit flashed for the TT legacy? got some sort of ballpark figure of what a single conversion would set me back?
  11. does anyone out there know whether its possible to flash/ replace the ecu in the rev c? i\'ve had a look around but everything i\'ve seen only focuses on rev d cheers
  12. So is regapping a pain or fairly easy? Do they not make a model thats set right for turbo legacys?
  13. Ok 41 has them for 11+ shipping. On the ngk website it shows them as being preset gap, does this mean its non changeable or just factory set?
  14. tried that earlier but it must be linked to the auzzie site as it only shows the liberty gt and wasn't 100% sure it would be the same. just found something on the uk site as all the rest only showed the 2.5l engine available, can anyone confirm that the part: BKR6E-11 is correct. i'd go for the iridium but need to be sure of the orig part first
  15. i was thinking about changing the sparks myself as the mechanic i went to was going to charge a small fortune. just wondering what the best plugs are for this model, i've heard the iridium ngk ones are the best but don't know which one to go for. is there anything else that needs to be done to the engine when replacing them or is it just a matter of getting the old ones out and putting the new ones in? cheers andy
