Does anyone know of a wifi version of a OBD2 plug that would work with a JDM 2006 BL Legacy GT specB?

I need wifi because thats what most wireless versions are for iPhones. (not bluetooth).  I only want to it to view various gauges/status via phone.  Not for reflashing.

Will this work with my vehicle?

    http://www.plxdevices.com/Kiwi-2-OBD-Car-to-Smartphone-Connection-p/897346002863-897346002856.htm ?

I've got one of those PLX devices at home.

Got it for my V7 RA but didn't work because the factory ecu was modified. Worked perfect when plugged into the mrs Mazda 6 wagon. I downloaded and used the Torque app.

Its only been plugged in a couple of times and has been sitting back in it's package since so pretty much brand new

I don't need it anymore so happy to sell it if you're keen. Just flick me a PM if you are.

On a quick search, people rate Arrow Wheels in Kelston.  I'm in Avondale so it's not too inconvenient, but I drive past Wheel Repair Services (WRS) everyday on my way to work, so it is super convenient... anyone had an experience with them?  I'm guessing it's a relatively simple repair as the buckling in my wheel (assuming that is the problem and it isn't a dud tyre) isn't obvious on a visual inspection.

Will be interested to know what WRS are like too as i drive past them everyday as well.

Arrow are good but pricey. Have had previous experience with these guys but they are on the North Shore  http://www.wheelfixit.co.nz/ their quote to do the same job as Arrow was half the price.

  3. There's Uncles Club at Hampton http://unclesclub.co.nz/event-info/ or NZ Track Day at Pukekohe https://www.facebook.com/pg/NZtrackday/events/?ref=page_internal

or there is the Open Test days at Pukekohe as well https://www.pukekohepark.co.nz/book/6271vS4TsQYhIcpuizRQyhl1/ this is the one i did when i had my RA. I would recommend Puke if you've never done a track day before. Good track to learn on.

Definitely noticed the prices going up the last couple of years too.

Will be keen to join if we can get a group together.......will be in my Honda though

Im kind of thinking along the lines of the following:

    Day 1 Friday

Merermere dragstrip side by side timed potentially a grass/gymkhana alongside.

    Day 2 Saturday

Trackday potentially Taupo but disregard location at present.

    Day 3 Sunday

    Mass meet/dynoday/BBQ/photo shoot at PBMS.

I'd be down for this....Puke would be my preferred location, like Kiwifozze said, this track is easier on the cars and a quite fun to drive

Bought a bunch of stupidly expensive LED's with the hope they won't crap out every few months like the cheap ebay/amazon ones.

Nice, did you buy these locally?

Next time maybe try these guys https://www.facebook.com/ultimateleds

I've been using them for the last 4 years or so on all my cars. The interior and park light LEDs on my RA have been installed for nearly 3 years and still sweet.

Had them fitted to my Toyota Crown as well. All lights changed except for the fog lights.

    Could always get mech warranty.

Lol...that stuff with the combo of a Sakura filter gives me an extra 20kw...you should try it sometime. Let me know and i'll sell you some :)

I'm really not sure if they fixed it by the '10 models, but was mentioning what I know :) May well be right haha. They do indeed make a EJ207 model STi in auto :) . Also those S-GT's are pimp. I like them, only downside is they don't look as cool with the non-widebody imho. They also don't have 4 pots or brembo's which is a bummer.

Will definitely take both models for a test drive and see which one she likes best.

i'll have to keep an eye out for a EJ207 Auto Sti model as well.

Also from what I've been reading the S-GT is twin scroll and has 250hp which isn't too bad :)

    Yup, carbon buildup,

Car went into limp mode, so took it to the dealer that we bought it from, they cleaned it all out and sent us on our way, less than 100KM later, back into limp mode.

We ended up convincing them to buy us a tactrix cable and the blanking plates so we could get rid of it :P

    Cool, cheers for that.

    Will definitely keep in mind!
