Wayco low profile jacks are really good.
Mate has been using his work one for over 5 years and its still sweet.
Just recently got him a new one through work for him to use at home.
Well priced as well.

If you get stuck I deal direct with Exedy NZ.
FJK-7350HD ( Heavy Duty ) for about $720 inc gst
Price has gone up a bit since i got mine but still not a bad price compared to retail.
Seems to handle my power level of 250kw pretty good.

I could probably get you a Sakura one through work. I just cross referenced Ryco part # RCA152C and it seems like the right one.
Did a quick calculation and it would be around $10+gst. Not sure how good that price is compared to retail?
Will need to wait till I'm in the office to get confirmed pricing etc and to see if i have any stock out in our branches.
If you're keen flick me a PM to remind me and I'll have a look into it for you.

Not a Subaru but bought myself a new daily.
GRS182 Toyota Crown Athlete.
Have always loved my Toyota "VIP" cruisers. Had a Toyota Aristo V300 a few years ago which came factory with a 2JZGTE , that thing went pretty good for a big car.
Since it's my daily it's only going to get the light mod treatment...lol. Tints, lowering and some nice wheels

So i went to move a hose today as i noticed it was sitting pretty close to the turbo, as i did it pretty much broke in half, felt pretty brittle from the heat.
Looks like one end goes to the GFB EBC which i'm using as display only and the other to a t piece.
My question is will this effect the car in anyway while driving? or is its main purpose just to give the EBC a reading?? is it best if i find something to connect the 2 ends back up?
I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff so hoping someone can help.
Cheers

Aussie must have one of the most expensive international shipping costs in the world. I was planning on getting a custom clutch from Aussie and the shipping just made it too expensive to think about.
Yeah i think so aye. I got a couple of Process West bits from MRT Performance last year and freight was pretty fast but it wasn't cheap!

You should do the work yourself if you can to save some coin.
I have very basic mechanical skills and knowledge and i was able to raise the height on my wrx.
My alignment was out after raising my car about 10mm all round.
There's no way it would take 3 hours for a workshop to do it, not on a hoist anyway. You're definitely being taken for a ride.
It took me roughly 2.5 hours to do it in my garage at home, only cause it was my first time ever doing it and i was being fussy and had to get the height just right.

Gave the car a wheel alignment, balance and tire rotation before taking it down to the Leadfoot festival.

I read that post and didnt see a date. Safe to assume its in 4 weeks time or so.
Yeah dude. They are pretty much booked out at the moment so the earliest i could get in was the beginning of next month.
Taking the day off work, will cruise down early and hang around and watch them work their magic

Sorted my s**t out and booked the car in at DTech to get the tune tweaked, will be interesting to see if the new headers and bigger exhaust have made any difference or not

They just aren't worth selling at the moment.I mean say you got 14k for it, what on earth would you buy? Another V7 with a completely unknown history, or a bog standard V8?
Yeah you guys are right. Not worth selling, especially since i've spent a whole lot of coin on it the past year. i might as well enjoy it properly.
You've talked some sense into me. Even the Mrs told me to keep hold of it...i think shes just sick of me buying new cars, spending money on them then selling them not long after...LOL!!
It is the 1st car i've kept longer than 3 years.
Been having a good think about it and I'll spend a little bit more money on it and complete the couple of things that i would like done ie. retune at DTech, baffled sump etc.
In the meantime i'll start saving some coin for a forged rebuild.

Hey guys
Have recently been thinking about maybe selling my RA and buying a new toy to play with.
I'm not sure what the market is like these days but what do you guys reckon i could get for it?
Below is a quick spec list -
CUSCO coilovers ( certed )
CUSCO front and rear strut brace
CUSCO front and rear sway bars
CUSCO K Brace
CUSCO brake master cylinder stopper
FUJITSUBO 3inch exhaust
TRUST 2inch up pipe
SSI unequal length headers
ATP GARRETT GT3071R ball bearing turbo
MAC 3 port boost solenoid
PROCESS WEST top mount intercooler and air splitter
PROCESS WEST cold air intake with K&N air filter
Silicone turbo intake hose
DW200 fuel pump
ID1000 injectors
HKS ssqv blow off valve
PROJECT MU HC+ front brake pads
ENDLESS SS-Y rear brake pads
MOTUL RFB600 brake fluid
New Rotors
Braided brake lines
GFB short shift kit and bushings
EXEDY 7350HD clutch
Brand new 5th and 6th gear syncro and baulk rings, gearbox seals, spigot bearing, release bearing, neutral switch, new gear lever bushes, transfer case bearings. All done same time as clutch
Full cambelt kit done @ around 184ks
Serviced every 5000ks with Elf Evolution Full Tech MSX 5W30
Cons are that its just clocked over 190ks ( i know this can be a negative for some people but it doesn't faze me ), a couple small dings from carparks, passenger side monsoon missing ( have a spare replacement ) and SSI headers hitting the subframe ( haven't had time to get under there to sort )
Could do with another visit to DTech as well to get the tune tweaked to suit the new exhaust and headers.
Cheers
