Was a local garage as didn\'t want to drive until it had been looked at. Running 98 gas.

Thanks for the help guys. I got diagnostics ran this morning on it and it is a sensor that needs replacing, about $250. I didn\'t see the light until a few days ago but you never know, it could of been an issue previously. The dealer did spend $1500 on repairs and replacements previously which I have the receipt for so I doubt he was being dodgy. I will get it fixed and claim on it. Thanks again.

Yeah will get it checked, tomorrow cheers. Gas seems OK-ish but have not driven much as on holiday and not had it long enough to know what is normal. Nothing else weird going on. Thanks peeps. I posted to fb and mates saying it is check engine light and could be a sensor. Will find out tomorrow.

Does 2004 Legacy GT count as a new model? I found a manual on subaru.com but it doesn\'t have the same light. odd. It is the only light I am not sure what it means. I have a 12 month mechanical warranty too so guess that is good! Thanks.

Hi guys. It comes on randomly when driving. Only had the car a few days. I guess I will pop around the corner to the garage tomorrow morning and see what they say. Pretty non obvious meaning light, if it was a check engine light which is super important I would of thought it would be more obvious and actually say "check engine". Thanks
