Mattapo (our Treasurer) is down so thought it would be a good time to have a meet. Venue: Dennys Porirua - meet in carpark outside (the big car park so we can all park together) Time: 7.30pm If people want we can do a cruise into Wellington afterwards for gelato ice-cream.

I am not sure how many "vouchers" his boss gave him to sell, but I know at this stage there are plenty available as they have just gone "on sale". I would say the next 2-3 weeks at least Either that or flick Jo (details in original post) a text to confirm.

Vogel Motors (62 Victoria Street, Alicetown) have sponsored Jo England (who is a mechanic at their garage) by the way of offering $30 warrants (and Jo gets the profit to rebuild his stockcar engine). These have to be purchased through Jo on 0274920253, and then you book your car in at Vogel Motors. The voucher is valid for 9 months from date of purchase, so you don't need to get your warrant immediately. Jo's partner used to have a subaru, and also flats with a local subaru owner, so all is legit. I ran this past the cc, and he was happy for me to put it up as it was a good offer for Welly people to be able to purchase a $30 warrant inspection.

Don't tell us you're one of these people that "check in" just for the sake of getting credit for "checking in" when you haven't actually gone to that place... shame on you! Nah I wouldn't do that Check in at kfc cos someone wanted to go there for end of month meet then didn't turn up so we all checked in at kfc for the hell of it lol

Go for the sti We started with a non turbo (and always said that would be fine for us "oldies" - then we joined club sub and that theory went out the window fast. We upgraded to what we thought "was all we needed - a v8 wrx..... that lasted a year, and now have a v10 sti and absolutely love it. We then thought a play car for autocrosses etc would be cool - a wrx maybe (once again the sti won) so got a v4 sti. So yes spend the extra in the begining, even if you think a wrx is going to be "suitable" I guarantee that you will wish you had got an sti.

Apologies. The v10 won't be making an appearance. Mike got called away for work so took the opportunity to go early and visit shakeytown (aka Christchurch). Have fun, hope the weather holds out for you guys. I expect to see heaps of pics.
