gutted - checked fluid - appears to be enough there, but fluid is a weird colour....browny/pink? and smells kinda like old cooking oil

Hey guys, Just working through issues with my car, have 80% of them sorted so far! but....after fixing all the leaks etc! and cleaning up the mess....i still smell burning after some medium/hard acceleration....today i noticed while playing with the hold button that IF i hold it in 3 and come on full boost the revs slip up like a dodgey clutch in a manual...this is followed quickly by the burning smell. Also seems to slip coming on boost in D when hold is on...(it could be i just dont notice without hold as it kicks down)... What im wondering - would a flush/service sort this out? if not then it's just going to speed up the progress towards a manual i think...but would like to delay it for a little bit as the missus is off work atm Cheers

I have lived in both places - Dunedin i really found that the older people treated the younger people with much less respect than in Christchurch...I'm guessing it has something to do with students etc but it was bloody annoying! esp in work! as because you appeared young you were quickly treated as a junior...even if you happened to be a senior! pay rates are also stink as - cost of housing is similar if not more than chch if you want a place that has a garage and isnt going to freeze... (I only lasted approx 11 months in Dunedin before moving back to Christchurch) Christchurch - friendly people generally, lot more opportunity - better pay rates, better housing, and the climate dominates dunedin. I live in somerfield, always lived around this area somerfield/barrington/lower cashmere - have had 2 cars stolen in the area, 1 even in a garage...any where you go your car isn't safe, get insurance and the best alarm you can afford.

I want to have my dynatron alarm - either removed or made to work properly! also sort out my central locking! looks like a real hash job install from who ever did it years ago! *shudder* everytime i touch something weird stuff happens - like only being able to start the car with the door open!

I know what they mean, thats why I stayed away from the scene for a while, didnt like losing my licence. Thats why the mrs drives it as her work car. I cant really race in my work truck . . Although the Mazda bounty is pretty cool, lol. lol how about some self control??
