205/50/16 is what is currently on my rims. Will stick with that size as its all stock What is a good mid range tyre that wont rip up on these roads, and still give me some performance around the corners? Cheers guys

again. just wondering in regards to the speed camera thing. obviously if a cop pulls you over and you are doing those speeds then you are toast. whether they would impound your car based on the camera photo. Definitely a summons to court over probably a careless driving charge or maybe they would go for you for dangerous and reckless driving lets face it. im sure everyone on this site has decided to give the car some throttle and put it up into the high digits. Even if it is on a straight road for a moment of madness. I understand the road is for the commuting and racing is for the racetrack. Im just talking that head rush when you see what your car can do and you start to thinking with the wrong brain

take your car? really? damn or is that the boy racer issue. thought that was the 3 strike rule and only can impound the car if there is an officer present for the catch and kill of any racer

I have just heard stories where if a camera takes a snap shot of your mug doing anything 50km/hr over the limit, that the police will try and identify the driver from the shot and take them to court over it. re: sideways... Must of been absolute bad luck they got the number plate on that shot, Ive only ever been snapped going frontways or backways ba doom doom psssshhhhh

just a question. has anyone ever been tried for going 51km/hr over the limit but been caught by a camera van and not a motorway patrol unit? I hear they dont issue demerits if you are caught via speed camera, however with the high end speeders wondering if the police and ministry of justice have ever tried to get someone here in court for speeding excessively but only caught by a speed cam?

def it would grow on me a v7. I did look at one seriously. Not wanting to criticise so much a certain shape, done right the bug eye does look pretty good. A stock standard bug eye (as much as ive tried over the years) isnt pleasing on the eye to me. Dont hate on me its just my opinion lol I\'m a big fan of the v5 gc8, but also I have seen some hot 2005 STI\'s around with the kits

Car stolen yes. Insurance probs no because payments were just direct debit. Hey you can only but try. Every scenario is diff. But dont get defensive at me i didnt steal the car !

unfortunately insurance companies are just that. They are in the business to make money, if they can find any grey area in the claim you can bet you aint getting the pay out. a lesson also to any of us reading who have not updated or paid their insurance, ive had an sti stolen from wellington stadium. No glass or anything, so it would of just been picked up on a tow truck and off they went. No cameras operating in the stadium fyi if you park there and think you car is safe... it aint, safest thing to do is put a bowl of water in your car with the window down a couple inches and a few dog biscuits for rex the pitbull who loves sitting in the drivers seat while you are getting groceries

Yea but ive always been in the mindset of if a camera gets me ill suck eggs. I just dont want demerits and with k on i cant stand the false alarms Thats just my preference i know many would rather keep k on

Hi guys I need some guidance. Beltronics XR NZ Aus, no STI sticker so I assume its an older model before the magnum or what not. Been told its a nz aus version and was bought here and the STI sticker were imported radars only (regardless that they both work the same etc no doubt and theres no functional difference) Anyone have any opinions on this model? How good it is and whats a good price or bad price? its around 400 Cheers
