  1. has a Possum link and i solved it. was flooded plugs were soaked so i just threw in a new lot and boom up she went
  2. have fuel and spark signal to the coils brought some engine start once this rain lets up ill give it a shot and changing all the plugs shortly
  3. Battery went flat lastnight tried to roll start it to no avail AA showed up with a jumper pack still no go thismorning decided i prolly flooded it in my feeble rollstarting attempts so cranked it without fuel pump on and it fired for a second then turned the pump back on and nothing just cranked. Any ideas? happend to anyone before? my geuss is fouled plugs but cant be fucked taking them out just yet
  4. sorry just talked to the dude who built it again and he said its a Version2 Limited edition has forged internals he dosent know what was done to the heads and block side but he said it had work done the owner from him was ex rally mechanic has rs/ra gbox and walbro pump
  5. Reccomend a turbo then? thats why i started this thread lol get some good ideas and where i need to start whats the best parts etc
  6. Why is it RB30DER? i allways thought it would be called a RB30DES due to RB25DET DETT etc?
  7. i have a r31 skyline track car that i was going to do up but i got this subaru really cheap and its been alot more fun than a RB30E i was going to make that into a RB30DES but cant be bothered with another skyline so gonna do subaru somthing new
  8. pocket depth isnt really an issue. yeah im looking at the G4 at the moment as the possumlink from what ive read and few people have said dont like getting crazy, and car has a RA block with the forged internals Have a V1 WRX MY93 STI
  9. What about going to a later model gearbox maybe a 6speed? is that viable? im quite schooled in the way of mechanics etc but down to subaru specific stuff i have no idea
  10. OH sorry forgot to mention it currently has a g1 possumlink ecu Gbox feels mint clutch is fucked but thats getting relpaced this week
  11. It has fully forged internals rods crank pistons. less than 20,000 on the engine. current turbo is vf23. factory manifolds FMIC yellow top injectors with sard FPR at 43.5 Psi. Plan is to get new manifold with a GT3540 Turbo 272 cams heads worked further they\'re ported and polished. Anything els i should look into? someone mentioned a coil upgrade could i get more info on that whats the best coils etc tell me your ideas the main goal is street driven weapon.
