has a Possum link and i solved it. was flooded plugs were soaked so i just threw in a new lot and boom up she went

have fuel and spark signal to the coils brought some engine start once this rain lets up ill give it a shot and changing all the plugs shortly

Battery went flat lastnight tried to roll start it to no avail AA showed up with a jumper pack still no go thismorning decided i prolly flooded it in my feeble rollstarting attempts so cranked it without fuel pump on and it fired for a second then turned the pump back on and nothing just cranked. Any ideas? happend to anyone before? my geuss is fouled plugs but cant be fucked taking them out just yet

sorry just talked to the dude who built it again and he said its a Version2 Limited edition has forged internals he dosent know what was done to the heads and block side but he said it had work done the owner from him was ex rally mechanic has rs/ra gbox and walbro pump

Why is it RB30DER? i allways thought it would be called a RB30DES due to RB25DET DETT etc?

i have a r31 skyline track car that i was going to do up but i got this subaru really cheap and its been alot more fun than a RB30E i was going to make that into a RB30DES but cant be bothered with another skyline so gonna do subaru somthing new

What about going to a later model gearbox maybe a 6speed? is that viable? im quite schooled in the way of mechanics etc but down to subaru specific stuff i have no idea

It has fully forged internals rods crank pistons. less than 20,000 on the engine. current turbo is vf23. factory manifolds FMIC yellow top injectors with sard FPR at 43.5 Psi. Plan is to get new manifold with a GT3540 Turbo 272 cams heads worked further they\'re ported and polished. Anything els i should look into? someone mentioned a coil upgrade could i get more info on that whats the best coils etc tell me your ideas the main goal is street driven weapon.

Whats the diameter of the 4pot wrx sti rotors? i got a set of 277mm slotted ones but just did another search around and they\'re incorrect? i read twice now that its 294~ mm Rotors that i need can anyone confirm?

yeah when i do the cams ill be sending the heads out for stainy valves new guides yada yada all the goodies so ill check everything over then

i still havent had a good look ill go check the injectors shortly ( i vaguely remember seeing yellow ) well since i found that out ill go bigger turbo cams injectors maybe and a retune oh and a nice EBC maybe HKS EVC and for drive train all i have in mind at the moment is a decent HD clutch might swap to a later model gearbox 6spd if possible

UPDATE : tonight i met the guy who made the car from the ground up he confirmed it was infact running 28psi daily driven for about 10 months while he owned it fully forged internals crank rods pistons etc has had some head work done also so thats some good news lol

Looking at turbo options at the moment just had to buy new mags for the car that i got quite cheap from new 17x7 Enkies as 3 out of 4 of my subaru wheels were buckled? me think someone been doing hellys new michileen tyres at 860 for the set >_< but what ever gripiest ones he had.

Couldnt tell you i still havent changed that mesh to a intake pipe lol. that will be tomoro as well ive got some pipe laying around and joiners. And no sorry no pictures of the Lancer on this computer ill get some up for you at some stage ( currently at work )
