  1. blocked radiator could do this, try a new thermostat
  2. Was just trying to sell the car too ahaha I wanted a STI :\'(
  3. Lol oh shit I bet the previous owners didn\'t service it and ran it on 91 : found lots of kids stuff in it when I brought it haha so guessing a family owned it!
  4. my legacy has developed this knock when you rev it yet it isn\'t there on idle could be a piston knock maybe? http://s1155.photobucket.com/user/94legacy/media/20131116_1129231_zps5cb71b95.mp4.html
  5. That\'s pretty shit aye bro, Hope he gets it back! Will keep an eye out round Aux
  6. I have always removed the primary to take the manifold off, Haven\'t yet found a way that I don\'t have to ???
  7. My B4 and GT-B both had this particular shape, Pretty sure it\'s just how it is as I had the primary turbo off and tried to make it straight but it was molded like this, Good upgrade tho never the less.
  8. The controller doesn\'t have anything to do with the boost side of things, The gauge reads the same boost switched on or off tho
  9. I didn\'t solder them because I didn\'t know if it was going to work, But it is a good connection, Yeah white stripes are going to the ecu, I might go out soon and re check it with the above diagrams supplied.
  10. Before I started I labeled all 9 wires at the ecu so I knew what was what then from there I did one at a time till it was all connected.
  11. I am skeptical of your B4 barking up 4 wheels However relating to your sequential controller a) are you positive you hooked it up right b) do you have a boost gauge and what does it say c) are you really sure it\'s not just a placebo effect - it shouldn\'t have any change to the running of the car apart from the switchover point, that\'s it - it doesn\'t alter any MAF readings as far as I\'m aware only possible thing I can think of is if it\'s "somehow" only half opening the exhaust valve or leaving the secondary BOV open Bro. They are cheap tyres haha don\'t worry it can I\'ll re check the wiring and try the reset button!
  12. Just adding that in the wet tonight when it\'s switched off it would light up the wheels however if you turned it on you\'d have almost full traction.... I don\'t want traction control :L
  13. After installing it today i\'m abit disappointed as I found when it\'s turned off it pulls abit harder so to me this would mean that it isn\'t doing it\'s job right and costing me some power ??? It also doesn\'t really reduce the VOD that I can tell " which it why I brough it". I am sure there is only one way of wiring it up other wise it wont work haha so figure I\'ve got that part right. But raising the cross over point is working. Any one got any ideas ???
  14. My one just seized in my old bg5 , I was at the redline when this happened tho
  15. More than likely the crank gets fucked any way
  16. The thing is even when the beb goes it doesn\'t matter if you drive it or if you don\'t the motor is still bothered and will still need a rebuild IMO
  17. It makes no sense to me, I\'d rather just leave it for some one else to do!
