They could always test it and confirm it rather than fixing a problem by (expensive!) replacement
They were going to charge labour to take it out to test it but the reading they got from the diagnostics showed that it was the cause of the idle issue, it was showing a slight drop in voltage every so often.

Hi guys, so i took the subaru in to highbrook automative due to a slight miss on idle and they advised me that i may have a lazy/on its way out air fuel ratio sensor, they quoted me $600bux for the sensor plus labour??!!
Ok how do i find this sensor and is it something quite easy to replace myself at home?

Well this is a load of crock, went to the site : http://rightcar.govt.nz/rego.html and put my car in and get 200bux something for year rego, found a car TM which is a STI Spec C identical to my car comes up with 138bux how the heck do they work that out, car on TM is this http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/subaru/auction-916585138.htm so annoyed right now!

Is Rajin Performance not around anymore? He had good pricing and was pretty good guy to deal with from what i read but his website and things look to be offline now? anyone know what happened there

Hi all, quick question are the suspension between the v7 sti wagon and sedan interchangeable at all?

I know the rear bumper and taillights are straight fit, the front you need to replace bumper, bonnet and guards to fit the lights but all straight bolt on as far as i know as the chassis itself is still the same

hey bro try Dent Devil as well they do an awesome job was going to use them for my subaru just havent got around to doing it, they did all the company cars at our work, excellent job have to say....gutted bout the dent though!

hi guys just a quick question, just installed a K&N pod filter kit with the intake pipe and cold box guard on the engine side, should i be worried about it running lean or rich? do i need to get it tuned?
I did take the battery out for about 15mins to reset the computer. Have driven the car and it runs fine and has got a decent pull as well...

i had the wagon 2004 2.3l one, definitely alot better on gas than the subaru and was great car to drive, had done 240k when we sold her and still drove like new, saw it the other day and still going strong...definitely a good car and thinking of investing in a new shape one now for the wifey.

The chassis damage is what to worry about, you will hear rattles and things and you don't know what sort of accident it was but crease to the rails hmmmm.... maybe explains why it is on the cheaper side of things...definitely agree with ADIKT to get a second opinion from a panel specialist for peace of mind...all the other stuff is quite easy to sort out in a weekend if you are handy with tools...

just show up to the dude's place and tell him to pay you back for selling you wrong things, really hate people who advertise the wrong thing and than dont want to accept an exchange...bummer about the exhaust though

Hi guys, so want to buy a factory standard exhaust of i think a v10 sti for my v7 sti, does anyone know if it will be straight bolt on at the turbo end and the mounts as well? cheers

i got stuck in the sand with my legacy wagon on 90mile, it went from hard to soft in an area and tide coming in, would think twice, also sand kept falling out for an year after even though got it steam washed and cleaned, and causes rust as well..

sounds very nice but maybe get it checked reading his last feedback on TM he isn\'t the most honest person on the block.... there was another guy on the forum who bought a similar car few months back from a dealer and had stuffed motor...

yup had it serviced with oil change, but gearbox oil probably hasn\'t lately will check the stuff mentioned and see if that could be causing it, thanks guys will post once tested
